This game has a lot of negative reviews. and I'm supplying another one.because it is just an overpriced clone of Bejeweled.. As a fan of Bejeweled with about 60 hours clocked in on that game, I tried this out when I snagged a coupon to get it for $1. It's awful in every way. It isn't anywhere near as visually appealing as Bejeweled. It's not as fun. There's nothing about it to make it worth playing or to separate it from the competition. Add to that the horrible Topware DRM added to a Steam game and it's just a nasty waste of $1.. quot;Awesome!" the mysterious voice in the game announces as you combo more geometric shapes To the sick rhythm of some nasty electro beats, you frantically move the gems around, desperately trying to keep your combo bar high, a race against time and space for glory. The narrator continues to document your progress with similar statements. But then. "The bar's about to blow!" You have reached the peak of gem shuffling. You guide the cursor with finely tuned skill; your soul has fused with these ancient space stones. You aren't even 5 minutes into this Bejeweled knock-off but all emotion has left you. In these few precious minutes of hot action gem switching, a piece of your humanity has drifted away. Is it the subtle sigh you hear every time you make a successful match? Is it the constant stream of approval from the voice above? Who knows. All you understand is that this took something from you that cannot be taken back.. Though the description makes this sound like a proper 3D Bejeweled game, the only 3D elements are that the board itself has a very limited 3D effect as you move the cursor around, plus a few other gimmicks. This is little more than a mediocre tech demo copying elements from far better games.. 10 euro is ridiculous, at least I got it for free .
