When someone is committed, he often does far more than most others. Many individuals find it difficult to understand why others do not care as deeply as they do, and some become disillusioned because they feel used and abused because they consistently seem to be doing most of the work, and others seem to benefit.

However, the truly committed individual doesn't concern himself with resentments or blaming others, but rather does what he does because he cares so deeply, and has both the vision and fortitude to pursue those things that he holds dearest. Inevitably, the end result is that the most committed people end up being the most successful, because their goals and objectives provide the most value and they generally care the most deeply. Absolute commitment and hard work are prerequisites for success. However, success may be the end result, but one's goals are the voyage and the objective.
