This film has got some bad reviews.

But

If you like fake MMA (as opposed to watching K1 / Pride / UFC reruns) then this film is for you.

Yes we can all guess the plot from the synopsis, yes we can say its predictable. But hay so was the hunger games and Lord of The Rings.

So if you like sweaty men and cute girls with names like Pepper than this film is going to be great.

If your wondering I've given it 8/10 simply because it is unpretentious unadulterated fun :-) I watched this today with no expectations since I hadn't heard of it before. I wanted to like it because I like MMA and it had some fighters I like in it. Surprisingly the MMA fighters were better actors then the main character Ringo. The writing and cinematography were better then expected. I just wish Ringo was even remotely likable. The actor didn't show any emotion at any point during the movie. In an underdog movie you need an actor that people want to see win, but all I was hoping is he'd be killed during the final fight scene.

If you're going to have nudity in a strip club scene why would it be in soft focus? What were you thinking?
