I like the game. Good graphics, great humor, great writing. Some things need to be adjusted.

Upgrades to production buildings that involve decreasing the number of jobs in exchange for efficiency turn out to be a downgrade because keeping the worker is more efficient. All the entertainment buildings are money pits, with the exception of the night club, which makes a lot of money.

Tourism is frustrating. One either gets no tourists, and if one gets tourists, all the hotels lose money. It's not worth it to run tourism.

The rebel molotov instant attacks cannot be blocked. None of the army buildings have time to respond, not even the drones.

Some people stay in shacks even if you build a free block house next to them. Open work spots sometimes do not get filled by the unemployed with the appropriate education.

I would like to see a social security edict for the children and elderly.

I look forward to the patches and improvements.. This game is good! This game is also an early access game disguised as a full release. Devs pulled the trigger to soon!. Being a longterm fan of the Tropico-series and having played more than 120 hours in Tropico 5, I was highly anticipating the successor. After a switch in the development team and the announcements of creating the BIGGEST and BEST tropico ever, having played the Beta and awaiting first updates...

I must say I am hugely disappointed. Sure, the maps may be larger by bare size, the graphics may have improved and finally the speeches are back. But the population limit has been, because of performance, decresed.

What purpose does it serve if I have now an island twice as large, connecting multiple small ones, if I can only place 1.700 inhabitants there stable?
Tropico 5 not only had a higher limit, but was less resource hungry, allowing for manually increasing the population limit above 2.500.

I would suggest to get Tropico 4 (speeches!) or Tropico 5 (Modern Times!) instead. Maybe wait for a price drop, or check out lategame maps on YouTube.. i have been a tropico player for more than a decade and this installment does not disappoint.. I am really enjoying the game. I had read some negative comments about the game but I have found that they are probably niche frustrations, because as a whole this is very fun. I haven't seen a downside to it at all. Worth the money. Especially if you love Tropico!. A solid sequel. I love that Tropico has become an archipelago and that you can extend the country across multiple islands. The inclusion of the\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665\u2665and commandos is also an interesting addition and I look forward to continuing my cruel dictatorship!. El Presidente says that a real Campaign is the way of a failing nation! This series of scenarios unlocked by completing a number of previous scenarios is the way of Tropico's bustling future! If you disagree, El Presidente and his network of spies *cough cough* journalists, would love to have a private word with you!

As El Presidente I do declare that features from times past are best left in the past. The features included today are a clear upgrade compared to our ancestors!

This new tax cut is in no way a bribe affiliated with the recent uprisings, and is a token of generosity by our beloved El Presidente!

Remember to vote El Presidente! .... or else..... I love the Tropico Series and this is familiar and good. However, it's not a vast improvement from the ones that came before. I think the price is WAY too severe for what content is available now as well as all the bugs and hardcore difficulty of stabilizing your economy to be able to build the fun stuff. I'm not impressed. I feel like I was ripped off paying 3x more than an indie builder game with more content, especially knowing the company is sure to release expansions they will charge an enormous price for when it should already be added in.
You know, Tropico 2: Pirate's Cove was gold. Why can't they just give us a better version of that one?. > 1 month since release, still waiting for multiplayer saves.
