Love this mod and love the troop models.. Great mod, adds a different element to the game. WW1 CoH is good.. 10/10 - Would send 30 Infantry Sections over the top and into the German Base again. I was NOT really amazed. The game goes you to WW1. Ok. The strategy changes a bit. The infantry counts and if you wanna win you have to keep your ground. So trenches , mortars, SMGs, wires are ALL of strategic importance than ever before. But CoH is already more competitive than that and with the latest changes in AI the game plays more infantry anyway. It depends on the map too. It's a good experience if you want to have a try on it. But you'll NOT stay long with it.. Have always loved COH and found this to be a great little add on for a much needed WW1 game.. The Great War in company of Heroes Engine. > Too much Population due to great offensive mode > charged my infantry on machine gun nests from no mans land > deployed altillery to flush out machine gunners > lost over 200 men and a thousand injured. for a hundred meters of enemy trench > was able to keep the position for hours. > cant hold position due to superior enemy assaults. > Falled back to primary defensive line > lost all strategic advantage and back to zero. > will repeat and rinse again.. It is really fun but the ai needs to make trenches. I like the melee combat.. nice ww1 mod dude. more coh1 mode plz ^ ^ .. WW1 / COH1 - what more needs to be said. It completly broke my game. now i cant see any of my troops. if any one can tell me how to fix this then plz do then ill up th rating but till then 0/10.
