Due to these factors it is likely that foods that are highly refined and have been processed to remove their naturally occurring fiber, may contribute to obesity.Examples of high glycemic index foods include highly processed breakfast cereals,white bread, wholemeal bread, potatoes, white and brown rice, candy, corn chips, gluten-free pasta, and commercially produced honey.

The probability of a diet containing a large proportion of high glycemic index foods contributing to obesity will be greater for those with a genetic predisposition toward insulin resistance and a family history of diabetes, as their glycemic and insulin responses are likely to more exaggerated than that of the general population.There are wide variety of ways to maintain a healthy diet. Deciding to venture on a diet is a wise decision as long as it is properly done and doesn't cause any other health issues to arise. If you are conscious about your health and you want to be physically fit and look good, then there is always a good way to do it - one of them is maintaining the best diet regimen.
