Achieving Success Despite the Challenges We Face in Life

Take this goal, and focus on it for 30 days. This is enough time to develop the habit, without feeling like it has to be a permanent or overwhelming life change. If, after those 30 days, the habit is still a bit of a struggle, then evaluate. If it's difficult because it's not really what you want (which you'll be in a good position to evaluate after 30 days of trying it out) then ditch the habit. If it is positive but just still difficult, then make it your goal for another 30 days. Keep doing this until the goal becomes an automatic habit. After it becomes part of your basic operating parameters, you can move on to the next goal on your list.By taking your goals and attempting to make changes in your life one at a time, you'll find it's a lot easier to achieve what you desire. It may not sound as sexy to say that you're only working on one goal, but it'll be a lot sexier in a year when you've accomplished a lot.

While it is common knowledge that we live in a fast andSpiritual Laws of Moneyquick society, all which is gotten rapidly usually disappears faster than it came. You build precept upon precept, line on line. Microwave solutions are microwave disasters. You rather have a permanent solution that takes time than a quick fix which frustrates you in no time. In Zimbabwe, a nation that had been going through economic decline for more than a decade, quick fixes were the order of the day. One didn't require a full time job to earn money. One could make money by selling money (foreign exchange) by the road side. Schools saw a decline in enrollments as the kids joined the elders in "burning money". Interestingly when the whole economy was dollarized in 2009, the same people who were now living at the pinnacle of "success" went back to hand-to-mouth.

That is a microwave disaster. Ill-gotten wealth comes with wings and with an itinerary too. The date of departure is not made known to you but most of the time you are caught by surprise. This is why I say that it is better to address the source of the pain than fight symptoms because you will forever fight symptoms unless the real root is addressed. You rather take out the rotten tooth permanently than keep taking pain killer as a quick fix to the pain problem. Quick fixes have no warranty or guarantee that they will remain forever. Sadly many have become so accustomed to quick fixes to a point where they have become a way of life, just like how an addiction easily become part of the character of a person. Always take time to fix issues on a more permanent basis.

In the humble village where I grew up, everyone else was peasant save for 3 families. We all lived in thatch while these families had asbestos and zinc roofed houses and cars. One such family had a daily allocation of meat for the dogs. As for me, I would see bread towards Christmas. Lots of bread would be bought for that one day. Needless to say on Christmas day you would be given khaki shirt and shorts as gift. So here we were, wishing we were children in any of the three. "Why just three families?", we would ask ourselves as kids. It later turned out that all three fathers we stealing from their employers and gradually they were discovered. All three died like paupers. No decent burial. Their "legacy" could not buy them medication.
