About This Game

Once there was a wicked witch. And then one day she decided to get married, and not to someone, but to a handsome prince.
The only problem - all the princes were engaged. All of them were picked up by beautiful princesses. Back then a cunning plan germinated in her dark soul - to destroy a family happiness of all beauties, and to turn the princes into frogs unless and until some of them come to senses and want to become betrothed of the evil witch.
She lulled to eternal sleep one of the princesses along with her servants. That’s how the legend about Sleeping Beauty appeared.
The young Snow White was poisoned by enchanted apple, and beauty’s body rests in the deep caves in the custody of seven gnomes.
Witch cut beautiful long hair of Princess Rapunzel and imprisoned her in an inaccessible cave among waterfalls. And a lovely Miss World was imprisoned in Witch’s basement. Just in order to teach others not to do so.
You will have to set free the frog-princes from Witch’s captivity, to help them to get on to the beautiful brides to remove the witchcraft by kiss of love.

Light hearted, fun spoof on some very familiar fairy tales with brilliantly done graphics and music one can almost dance to. I would classify this game as family oriented or light adult comedic entertainment (and there are some quite comedic adult moments.) The near end of the bonus chapter is a perfect example of what I mean.

Story: After escaping from being captured by a matrimonial minded witch looking for her "prince charming" by turning the prince into a frog until he accepts her marriage proposal, the gamer first must rescue the now frog prince. With the use of her magic mirror portal the gamer helps the frog prince find his bethrothed princess so her kiss can break his frog spell. All this must be done before the witch returns from her day trip to the local spa\/ salon where she is being pampered and having beauty treatments.

Gameplay: This family oriented, point and click puzzler breaks down into the rescue and the finding of the bethothed of two different frog princes with a bonus chapter (which is much shorter) about the third frog prince. The point and click scenes are easy to find, easy to understand and any direction needed is given through pictures and the frog prince. There is no talking (beyond the witch's initial scene) just the sounds your guiding frog prince makes as he points out what needs to be done as you follow him. The game plays in a tight linear fashion and logical manner by following the steps one would naturally do if presented with the same situation in real life. This makes the game flow smooth and seamless. There is little backtracking and each puzzle area is nearly exclusive to its own obstacles and goal.

The puzzles are clever, well placed and where one would expect to find them such as on locked doors and boxes that need opened. Some might find the puzzles too easy, but there several that required some thought to solve. Puzzles include sliders, matching, color, music, logic and something similiar a hidden object "Find X amount".

No map and no penalties for hints, scene clues or skipping. Built in strategy guide in case one gets stuck or forgets what they are doing. Extras include wallpapers and concept art. The in-game achievements are a hoot. They are animations of the frog princes, six for each in total, which can be saved as avatars, one of which is the frog dancing.

Brilliantly done comedy adventure with light romance thrown in as a bonus. Highly recommend it.
. Crashes in menu. Impossible to play. Garbage.. Bought it for my girlfriend and she liked it very much. The game is short but pretty enjoyable. Music is ok, locations are very pretty, some are little masterpieces. Riddles not too hard but also not very easy - i'd say, intermediate level (but some can be challenging). Whole game took about 5 hours - not as long as I would like, but for that price I definetly recommend if you like point and click games. .

Also, the game is a little bugged - it was crashing often at the beggining. I had to search for GetThreadContext error and uncheck an option in my Avast antivir. That was my onlyand a bit daunting experience with this game.. This is such a light hearted game. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventures and laughed at the characters.. I love this game! The cartoony style and vibe is every thing. I wanted this game for ages and when I finally got it I was not disapointed! The story is fun a quirky and full of surprises I would reccomend for anybody whos played a vampire story or disk world! <3 <3 <3. Imagine a very good and beautiful hidden-object game without an actual classical hidden-object scenes. And here you have it! Closest analog I can remember is Mortimer Beckett series and Hero of the Kingdom series in some way. So if you know these games you can tell how good Witch's Prank is. It's ~3 hours and delivers easy puzzles to have fun with, fairy tale story and awesome artstyle. The only annoying things I found is sometimes backtracking takes time (a cart in the mines for example) and frog's voices.
But as it's a cons for some people I must say the game is VERY easy.. Game Information

Game Visuals

I want to mentioned that the visuals in the game is well done. The visuals can be adjusted in the game's option menu.

I want to mentioned that audio for the game is well done. Even though the audio is somewhat simplistic and repetitive. The audio can be adjusted in the game's option menu as well.

Gameplay

There are three different difficulty game modes to choose from: Regular; Advanced and Expert.

The inventory panel is at the top of the screen instead of it being at the bottom traditionally. It comes with a padlock feature to lock the inventory panel in place to make it stationary.

The scroll keeps tracks of progression in the game. Such as story events and clues.

The hidden object scenes consists of the following: Fragmented items. Fragmented items make up of a whole item. Some of these hidden object scenes may require little or no interactions.

The puzzles are fairly easy to solve without having the need to skip any of them.

There are four different sets of in-game achievements. Each of these achievements does come with some requirements that needs to be completed before they can be unlocked.

Since this is a collector's edition, there is a bonus chapter, but it can be accessed only after the main story is completed.

Miscellaneous

There are extra features in the game: Bonus Chapter; Screen Saver; Music; Concept Art and Strategy Guide. Most of these extra content can be accessed only after the entire game is completed.

Final thoughts: I have found the game enjoyable to a certain extent. The replay value for the game is low. I would recommend this game, but not at the game's full price value.
