The Glass Trap Full Movie Free Download
Joe Mannix and Peggy go to a nightclub intending to listen to a young guitarist, where Peggy recognizes a fugitive criminal named Brastow. Joe manages to recapture Brastow, who is to be extradited to New York to face charges of murdering a police officer. Brastow is to be escorted by an old acquaintance of Joe's named Ross Santini, now a New York detective. But Joe becomes puzzled by several attempts on his life by men he believes to be working for Brastow, and concerned about his friend Santini's increasingly odd behavior.
"The Glass Trap" is a good but sloppy episode of "Mannix". It begins with a couple scum-bag drug lords killing a detective. In the next scene, Mannix and Peggy are at a cool jazz club when Peggy recognizes one of the killers, Brastow, and tells Joe. After all, he is wanted for this murder. After a chase outside where Brastow ties to shoot Mannix, Joe catches up to him and beats the crap out of him. Is this the end of the episode? Nah...it's all in the first few minutes! What's next is a complex episode involving some cops trying to escort Brastow to New York to face charges and Joe is sure that Brastow will somehow try to break free--and he'll never allow that!
The plot is pretty interesting and the ending is action-packed. So why only a 7? Well, as I mentioned above, the show is sloppy. The worst, by far, is when a gray (NOT GREEN despite what the IMDb goofs say) car becomes a white car and vice-versa during a chase!! It's obvious they were recycling old footage but this is just ridiculous! A smaller goof is when one of the agents urges his partner to escort him to the jazz club. Why is this a goof? Well, it really makes no sense as this agent encourages his partner to bring his wife...and I won't say more because it would provide a spoiler...though it really makes no sense when you learn more about this agent.
