About This Game



Sky of Destruction is a top-down shooter created by a team of two people.
Before starting a mission, select a combination of three types of aircraft in your fleet, which will help you during the mission.
Your goal is to destroy the enemy aircraft carrier or buildings, breaking through the enemy air armada.

Switch between planes during the mission. If your plane was hit, it’s not the end of the game, the extermination of the enemy does not stop. But keep your aircraft carrier safe.

Pump a lot of parameters of your aircraft with a large selection of items that you will receive with the successful completion of missions. Each aircraft has its own inventory of individual form.
Put items in the most effective way.

Enjoy the juicy explosions of enemy buildings and their physical destruction.

This game is now in early access and its small flaws are defined by this fact. The game balance is not completed yet, and some of the menus are still rough on the edges, but this game gets up to several patches a week. This shows how much devs care about this game and I am totally sure that it will become better with each update untill it is shiny polished. I see several good premises:
Simple but very versatile idea, i see tons of possibility what you can do with it
The art looks solid and well designed - the 3d models are neatly done with interesting small details to explore, the effects like smoke and fire are juicy and combined with physically destructable platforms look just awesome!
The core gameplay is decent and smooth, maybe just needs some small tweaks

What the games most critical misses at its current state is (balance-wise):
- tweak the stats of player and enemies untill it is fun and challenging
- slow down the game speeds a bit to give players the fun of dodging bulets and ships, or create a dark souls-style invincibility roll
- make the different ships more impactful
- more color and sound indicators, the enemy ships must be more distinguishable

Overall if you like dynamic and fast arcades\/shoot'em'up games, i would try this one. This game is a real fun time killer, good for when you want to dive into a game and just go to town shooting baddie after baddie. The game is set up in a conquest mode type of style and allows you to go back to previous missions for some blueprint grinding. You gain one blueprint for every enemy killed, including ally kills, and you take those blueprints and fit them into the grid of the fighter you want, and each mission you win gives you a part that can improve your fighter's stats. There's about 7 different fighters at the moment, to which you choose three to pick in battle as your personal craft and you can also pick which craft your mothership spawns to fight beside you. Since the game is recent in EA it doesn't have a large assortment of content, but the game has a decent amount of replayability, and a lot of mindless fun!


Patch 1.0.2:
Hey everyone! By request, I'm happy to release a small patch that addresses accessibility in Rebel Story.

The patch adds option in game settings -> controller to enable mouse-only controls. You'll be able to move around / shoot / use special ability / change formation by using mouse only.

Controls:
Moving mouse = moving fleet
Mouse 1 = Shoot
Mouse 2 = Special Ability
Mouse 3 = Change formation

All the items are auto-picked up in that mode. You can only use the mouse to move when this mode is turned on.

Hope this makes the game more accessible and have a spooky halloween!

It combines shoot-em-up and roguelite genres by having you take control of the fighter squad, each with its own abilities, and go through 8 different challenging missions.

Pick up weapons, choose bonuses, unlock new ships and allies! The controls are similar to the shoot-em-up genre, except you have a fleet of fighters: that means you can swap between two formations to better destroy or avoid enemies.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say thanks for your feedback with the demo so far.

We've taken some of them into account and added them to the game:

- Weapon Disappear in 15 seconds if you don't collect them
- Char Selection Screen
- Mouse cursor should appear in the main menu after ragequitting
- 'Snake' in Bonuses -> 'Gustav'
- Longer Invincibility after taking damage on easy mode
- Removed extra sounds from explosions when your ships are damages
- Reduced the health of second boss by ~25%
- Gameplay settings are closed / saved properly now
- Diagonal movement optimized: ship moves at the same speed diagonally as vertically / horizontally (was faster before)
- Fixed tutorial dialogs / texts
- Sound effect / visual particles added when energy bar recharges
- If death animations are disabled, allies won't say anything on death
- Post-boss upgrades display text all the time
- increased firing speed from second ship
- removed shinyness from the mines (no more confusing with pickups, hopefully)

. Lazy Galaxy: 1.0.1 Patch:
Hey everyone!

Thanks to your bug reports, we were able to identify some of the issues and create a patch with hotfixes / adjustments.



  • Add one more bonus: "floating coin error" - coins slowly fly to the left
  • Added a hidden feature to skip a wingman next patch (by pressing "X" on gamepad or "Formation Change Button"(q)).
  • Added a hidden feature to disable gamepad in CO-OP (press F3 in co-op menu)
  • FIX: if you enter the "coop" menu then Esc back out, the arrow keys are disabled (entering the "single player" menu reenables them).
  • Adjustment: if player dies after boss kills him (and the boss dies too), no dialog is shown and boss defeat progress is set to 99%
  • Adjustment: make it possible for player 2 to navigate pause screen
  • Fix: Gamepad images missing on linux
