Where should I start on a review:

well items needed to complete missions are un-obtainable,

Missions are assigned to either half complete, deserted or previously cleared fields making them impossible to complete.

To top it off vehicles get stuck to objects requiring a reset back to the "store", normally on the other side of the map.

I saw the bad reviews, but there was a few ok / good ones; so I was expecting at least a simi-functionable game and gave it a shot...

DON'T DO that!! Do not buy this game in its current state...

Its a shame as it was looking to be a good time sink :(. no go get a hoe and get some seed it would be funner. In plain words do not buy this game if you own a game wheel, you can not use it only game console game pad, I regreat buying this so sent it back to Amazon where I bought it from because the version on here I bought would not load thats why I do not buy games on here now, I buy else where but have to register them here. good farm sim try farming simulator17 ot 19 when it gets released in Nov18. So.... here is the rub. AMAZING IDEA and AMAZING STORY and AMAZING POTENTIAL. They just have to capitalize on it... seize the moment... mom's spaghetti. The game mechanics/physics should be better (or at least better explained), and maybe more UI (in tutorials, maybe a voice-prompt or directed stuff?). IDK. I will give the game a good effort, and change this if it gets better.

UPDATE--they should have tested this out before hand. Maybe an extra month or so? I would not have minded a larger file size or graphics rendering.... still starving 1/19. Sim games are hard to make. Simulating real world physics and biological systems require expertise AND experience. For each subject.

Add to the complication that this game is entering a sub-genre with 2 already established titles battling for suppremacy. That gives us a little perspective on what we can expect from a new entry.

Real Farm IS NOT yet a good game. It DOES have what it takes to be a good game, provided that we can do the work to help them get there. The price is too high right now and the game is closer to early access than Gold release. That's not a complaint against the developer, but rather the publisher who has to keep budgets and release dates balanced.

The good news is that the developers are using the sales to fund a rapid support schedule. The beta branch of the game is really cranking out the fixes and improvements. I'm quite optimistic that they will have a real new series contender here. If we are bold and brave as consumers. Nobody will ever make better games in this genre unless we buy the games. The genre needs to be making enough money for developers/publishers to want a piece of it. So buy the games, push developers to improve them and reap the rewards. If you want the farm game of the future, do the work now.

What the game does right: It's a lot like Farm Sim 16 if we are being honest. It has good music, decent art assets, the menus work well enough, etc.

What it does wrong currently: physics(wacky flipping/flying tractors over the mountains are possible), sound(hooking up tools is silent, no working sounds for many jobs, etc), no licensing(future games likely to have, provided people buy this), weather effects.

There is a good game here. If you want to push this game or other farm games to improve faster, there needs to be competition. That means you have to buy them all. Your move farm/sim gamers.. The game is really bad.. Played this game for an hour, got my car stuck almost instantly and there's no way as far as i know of getting it unstuck. Also, one of the first missions tells you to buy a tractor but gives you no indication as to where you can do that. I assumed you'd be able to bring up a map but nowhere in controls does it tell you how to do that. Also it says you can browse a catalog to buy one but does not tell you how to bring up said catalog, i pushed most of the keys on my keyboard trying to bring them up but nothing worked. Also got a tractor stuck and there's no way of getting it unstuck either. Needless to say , my experience was negative.
