_____ the Butler (CV: Bradley Gareth) - Your Love Interest! Your personal butler whom you can't get out of your mind. After years of vying for his attention with no success, will you ever be able to obtain his love?

You know your game doesn't have much going for it when the description sounds like a better experience than what the actual vn offers. When they say the estimated gameplay length is 45 minutes to 1 hour long, That's for all 5 endings combined, meaning each scenario feels comically short, not giving enough time to actually give the characters actual character. You may think you're getting value for money since it's at the very least a short vn that you can finish in a very short amount of time but that's kind of anti-thetical to the appeal of the vn isn't it? To have a slow paced story delivered to you and consumed at your own pace, taking in the unique atmosphere that only vns can create, of exploring a fictional set of characters in a way that makes vn characters almost feel like real people at times. I can only view the characters in this vn as genre cliches and I feel bad for having the voice talent of the butler on this disposable experience. Save your money, eat sleep and then die. Also don't play this game. Stop it. Get some help.

Sidenote: the reason why I have so many hours in this game despite me saying it's gameplay length is short, is because of the fact I was writing notes while playing the game. You can tell I have a lot more to say when most of the hours on this game was me just idling through it while writing my thoughts on the game.. I have a terrible fear of mannequins, yet this game forced me to romance one... It was an enjoyable experience though, and despite my former hatred of mennequins, I have been forced to rethink my personal biases against them.
10/10 would name my mannequin butler Sebastian and romance him again.. The other reviews are right: you get what you pay for. I got all the endings in maybe 90 minutes? Although I kept getting one ending over and over in my quest for the one I wanted. There's not many choices, and the choices you do make don't change much of the story until the ending. But it's cute, it's fun, it's romantic. I liked it. The voice acting is especially impressive, and I loved how the characters are faceless - it allows you to fill in the blanks with your own idea of the swoon-worthy gentleman and the spirited heroine.. Oh my goodness, where do I begin?

Obviously, this game is short. There's nothing wrong with that though. I absolutely loved it to pieces.

The moment I was able to name my butler, I named him after my boyfriend and made him my end goal, haha.

For how short it was, I found myself very involved with the characters, despite not having faces (but imagination takes care of that). The voices were very good. Sophie was kind of annoying at first, but my god does she grow on you. The butler's voice was very swoon-worthy *_*

This game totally gave me feels and turned me into that squealing romantic school girl that I keep hidden deep down in a dark pit. Very rarely does that rabid girl ever get to come out, but when she does I have the best time!

Game gets a 10/10 in my book! Worth every penny~. It took me around 45 minutes to unlock all of the achievements/ go through all of the dialogue trees, but it was an amusing 45 minutes. It's a simple game, but if you've got a dollar and a little bit of time to kill it's a nice little romp. So long as you don't go in expecting a novel you should be pretty pleased.. Short but cute. The voices were great and the endings were worth going through and getting, It's worth the 0.99€ if you are interested
. Despite it's low price I would still not recommend this game. The story is too simple and lacks any sort of depth. While the art style is an interesting choice and the voice-acting is good it still felt lacking in many ways.. SPOILER FREE*
I finished the entire game, got all the achievements, and all the endings.
And I gotta say it was a PRETTY GOOD/ DECENT game (for a game that is only $0.99) HOWEVER some parts of it was kinda miscomplete(?). Don't get me wrong , was a pretty good experience--despite it being really short (because ya know, it's a short story) :)

The art is pretty decent. The mechanics are very easy and simple to use. The voice acting is superb. The background music is reallllly good! The story line is pretty interesting. I also didn't spot any serious grammar mistakes It's definitely not a bad game that's only for $0.99.

HOWEVER, I finished the game with a "I want to see more" and a "I want to see a good ending with this person and not just this person" type of feeling (if that even made sense lol).
In my opinion, it was a little too BIAS (and the reason why I probably think that way is because I tend to play all the character's routes in any Otome or dating sims game that I ever play so I expected that there would be more playable character).

OVERALL I would recommend this game. I definitely had a good experience despite the tiny little flaws here and there but it's a perfect $0.99 game.

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this game gave me cancer anyway.
