About This Game

Kith is a planetoid covered in fractures. Between these fractures are plateaus. On these plateaus, there is life. Deep in the cracks though, there is a dark and mysterious mist. Word is, nobody has ever been down there, and nobody knows if it has a bottom. Most don't think about it too much though. There's stuff to do.

Welcome to this regular mini-adventure series with a focus on character and world building. In small chunks you will get to know the people and places of this world, and hopefully be charmed by their... charm. Kith episodes will always be tiny, but always free.

Simple art style, but still quite lovely. Only the first chapter, but I'm curious to see how the story progresses.. it's a short point & click problem solving game
-u can miss some instructions & there's no way to back track the dialogue
-u need to figure out by try & error on every item, luckily it's a small game
-dull art & music
the lacks can be forgiven since this is a short game but can't recommend it.... Font too small. Unreadable.

That's enough to give it a pass. The font type isn't good, but it would be bearable if its size was made for human eyes instead of eagle peepers. Visual cues on the cursor and elsewhere are of the same caliber, making the game essentially a pixel-hunting exercise. Music is an annoying loop, but can be shut off. I like the visual style, but the UI is just awful.. I've played this first through itch.io and replayed it just now to see if anything was added. The answer is no.

It is a point-and-click adventure done up with 3D characters in what looks like a graphite isometric map. There isn't much to speak of for the game yet as it is the first chapter and if I'm quite honest the characters are a bit on the ugly side and the single looping bgm got annoying. Most of your time, for the first chapter at any rate, will be spend walking from screen to screen. There may be a few points where you might be confused on what to do but even confused clicking can lead to the solution.

Until more chapters come out I cannot recommend this. Too short and too simple.. This game was pretty good. I haven't really played a point and click adventure before, but I was not disappointed. The art style is interesting, with the gameplay not being over-complicated. Overall, a pretty alright game.
