How Do DREAMS Create a Road Map For Success?

In order to realize success in life - personally or professionally - one must know what drives them. But what is in a DREAM? DREAMS should be more than something the imagination creates while we sleep. DREAMS, if given serious consideration, can and should provide an individual with the insight to do what it takes to be successful. To apply this logic consider the following elements of DREAMS.

D - Define your dynamic dreams in detail. DREAMS are not limited to something monetary or material, but might be spiritual or familial. Whatever your dreams are elaborate and think through the details. For example, "I will develop an organization that will provide financial counseling to single mothers who wish to provide the best for their children despite the obstacles they face raising children on their own. This organization will begin accepting members on January 1, 20xx and will be located in My Home Town, My State and will be funded by community support and fund raisers."

R - Reach and seek out something bigger and better.... GO FOR IT! Do NOT settle for the path of least resistance. You are limited by no one but yourself. Set interim goals and find business coaches or personal mentors who can help you achieve your DREAMS. Build a mastermind team made up of people who can do the things you do not know how to or are not capable of doing.

E - Effort is fundamental to reaching your goals. Embrace your DREAMS completely and do not lose sight of it no matter what gets in your way. Implement consistent and persistent thought and activity until your reach your final destination. Then reach for more. Success is measured by your effort and effort is controlled by you and you alone.

A - Attitude is essential. Superior attitude means being "up" even when you are "down." Keep your eyes on your DREAMS and stay focused. Surround yourself with other positive people and lean on them for support when you need some reassurance. Stay away... far away... from anyone negative who gets in your way. Negative people are DREAM killers and have no place in your life.

M - Music is another word for passion. Keep the music in you always and turn it up loud when other noise begins to distract you. You are in harmony when you are listening to your own music.

S -Stay on course. Quitting is NEVER an option. Stay plugged into your DREAMS because winners keep going and quitters are just quitters. You can NOT fail if you proceed forward, you only fail when you quit.
