Helping to Solve the Riddle of Diabetes and Breast Cancer

Well the answer to this questionHalki Diabetes Remedymay seem broad because they are tons of different, tasty, mouth-watering foods out there. However, although some foods may seem pleasing to the sense of taste, as a diabetic, many can have dangerous effects.

Alcoholic Beverages When I think of alcohol, I tend to think of the liver. A constant high dose of alcoholic beverages can be quite fatal to the liver and to a diabetic. Having a damaged liver can make it impossible to control glucose levels in the body.

Juices/Soda Especially soda! Sugar and diabetes go hand in hand and Soda and fruit juices have way too much. The next time you go into a grocery store or supermarket, take a stroll to the soda and juices section and take a look some of the ingredients. Avoid all drinks that contain the words "High Fructose". Also, fruit juices and soda are said to be high in carbohydrates, which also should be avoided. Instead of buying the bottled juices, it's always better to eat whole fruits or invest in a juicer! (Wink, wink).

Fruits Not all fruits are healthy for a person with diabetes. E.g. Watermelon, despite some nutritional benefits that would otherwise be healthy for people without diabetes, according to the Center for Integrative Medicine, watermelon has a high glycemic index of 72. If you are a diabetic, you should avoid watermelon, because it can quickly increase your blood sugar levels. Also, same goes for pineapples, bananas, etc...

Fast Food fast food restaurants, as in KFC, McDonalds, Wendy's, etc... tends to have lots of fried food that were cooked with a lot of oil, which can quickly increase bad cholesterol in the body. As a diabetic, instead of fried foods, it's always better to bake, boil, steam or grill foods. If you have trouble remembering, just know that fast food restaurants are No-No's to a diabetic. Please resist the great smell when you drive past these locations.

Other food items to avoid: include, pastas, pizza, soy sauce, peanuts, salad dressings, dry fruits, mustard and mayonnaise, and the list can go on and on. If you are a diabetic, don't worry, I have a terrific suggestion that I will mention at the end of this article that you must take a look at.
