About This Game

Take control of five cute, mystical creatures of miniature proportions called CreaVures. CreaVures always travel in pairs, and they must use their special abilities to help each other solve interesting platforming puzzles. Creavures is a great little platformer game with a bunch of neatly implemented mechanics. Work together with all the characters that you get to play as to progress; you will need all your companions. This game is worth picking up, especially when it is on sale, for when you have some spare time and just want to casually play a platformer \/ puzzle game and relax.. ENG:

It is pretty short(though i'm not finished it yet) but it's really cute. The colour concept is fun and makes certain things in the game really pop out. The creature characters are fun and each one has traits and abilities that you use in the game to help solve the puzzles. I originally got the game because of the crazy colour scheme but it won me over with the weirdly cute creatures and the interesting game mechanics of having to use multiple characters to get through scenerios.. so... after playing some time i regret having paid any money for this. ask a friend to try this out before buying.

#that short video sequences are kind of cute but the animations are way too slow... okay... little cat (bitey) coming out of some corner...5 seconds later... still standing... turning head ... 5 seconds again... (urf :\/ )
#climbing animation of bitey totally unnatural
#restart at checkpoints after some unexplainable "deaths" (no obvious reason)

after all i will give this a second try where i\u00b4ll play a longer period of time but for this i likely need some beer and boredom - good concept, but i\u00b4d describe that as alpha or beta - much potencial not used - a pity

. This game has problems. It feels like it was released early, before it had been refined. However, it has some positives going for it. If you have the tolerance to put up with the flaws, you might be interested in picking up this cheap game when on sale.

The game is really unique. The dark colors, ambient sounds, and nocturnal natural environment setting is very striking and I find it attractive.

The characters to play are indeed cute and unique.

The game is a simple platformer and, in that respect, it could have done better. Movements and actions could have been faster and required a bit more skill, but it is what it is. The teamwork aspect is simplistic and other games before it have done better. The game lacks a bit of refinement. It feels like they ran out of funding, drive, or just didn't have the tallent available to polish this game to the level it could have been.

Where CreaVures is weakest is it's user interface, some of it's audio, level scoreboard, and other in-between bits. It seems as though these areas were not the artists strengths. The end-level tune makes me cringe.

I regret that this title didn't get a bit more time in development, as I think it's reception could have been improved with a bit more work.. Fun! Not a difficult game by any stretch, but the atmosphere, music, and gameplay were very enjoyable. Provides several hours' worth of casual gameplay in a darkly-lit, surreal world. The cooperative aspect of the game was well-done. And the characters are adorable.. From the first second Bitey appeared on the screen, I was hooked. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I'd ever encountered. The characters each have distinctive and charming personalities; they seem real, more so than many human characters in games. The rainforest is absolutely stunning, even at a lower resolution. The bioluminescence creates a soothing visual that relaxes the mind. The music adds to this soothing effect, with its mystical tone and flowing melody. The only negative point I can think of is its length; the game ends so quickly, while I want to explore more of the world presented in the game.
