Yes its true that the advice from Health Eggsperts sic was that too many eggs were indeed bad for you because they were high in cholesterol so it was thought that they must raise your blood cholesterol levels. Now at the time this was the best information available so it stands to reason that this was sound advice based on common sense. The scenario has changed however and we know that eggs do not significantly raise blood cholesterol levels as there have been numerous scientific studies done to prove this.
There is currently no limit on the number of eggs that you can eat in a week. However, because the recommendation has changed over the years, it's often a common source of confusion.as research in this area has developed, so has our understanding of how foods that contain cholesterol affect people's heart health."Eggs should be a staple part of your diet especially if you are trying to lose weight. Like many of you, I too measured my value by the number on the scale. My morning "weigh in" determined the degree of selfabuse I'd engage in for the day. If it was a number I "approved of" on a given day which was rare, I could feel "ok", of course the number is really never good enough, is it Nonetheless, if it was agreeable for that particular day, I might say something like, "I've been good, I'll eat even better today; which of course meant deprivation so I could see an even lower number the following day. Or I might say, "I've been good, so today will be an off day, which of course meant some kind of binge eating! Neither of which made any space for listening to or connecting with my body or spirit, nor consistent selflove through food, and both are forms of emotional eating.
