Now that I have seen the other side of life there is no Nerve Renew Review chance of me ever going back! We might have to do without a few things while I get my business from home up and running, but if you asked me five years ago if I could see myself doing anything other than mechanical work or for that matter putting websites together I would have said no way! This injury has opened up a whole new life for me and although I could not see it for a start in a funny kind of way this maybe one of the best things that has happened! I know that sounds a little bit crazy but if you try and look for ways in which your life can be improved by your situation it is a lot easier to accept. It is certainly worth exploring your options, you never know where they may take you.A scary fact is that an estimated eighty percent of the population will suffer from some degree of back pain in their life. Thankfully many of these occurrences will only be short lived or acute but for those of us that have chronic back pain life can be one daily struggle after another. These are a few tips that have helped me get my life back on track and meaningful once again even though my back pain is still at a chronic level. I hope you will find them useful too.Now that I have seen the other side of life there is no chance of me ever going back! When this all went down, late in 2005, it was all doom and gloom as far as I was concerned. Not only was I in constant pain but I had also been put out of business - literally! Owning a small auto repair business doesn't last long when you struggle to work on cars. Having to virtually walk away from that business was something that I struggled with for a long time.Things were not looking good, plus we still had the mortgage and three children to clothe and feed. As a result of all of these life changing events naturally I got a bit depressed and pretty much gave up on living any sort of a normal life. Thankfully my wife noticed this early and sent me off to see a psychologist early in the piece. What he did for me was amazing. The first 'step' he wanted me to take was setting myself small goals each and every day. These goals started off with things as mundane as hanging out a load of washing or driving to the shops and spending ten or twenty minutes walking around. Basically stuff that I took for granted before hand, but what I had to do was look at these tasks as goals, not just as something that we do everyday.
When you can train your mind to think this way it is amazing the sense of achievement you get out of even the most basic of tasks. Yes, it does take some time to automatically think this way and sometimes you will find yourself thinking that this is the craziest thing I've ever done but believe me it does wonders for your self esteem! The second thing that sticks out in my mind was related to the exercises that I had to do every day. I had a problem with getting started as I was thinking why should I be deliberately putting myself through this pain, why not just take some more pain killers and put up with it! I can remember complaining to my psychologist that the exercises are the hardest thing I have had to do in my life. He looked at me puzzled and said "what harder than putting up with pain everyday?"
What I was looking at was the short term picture. Sure it hurt like hell to do the exercises initially and every day I felt like giving up but what kept me going was looking at the big picture. Yes, I had been dealt a blow but if I was to let this thing beat me and not do my exercises one year, four years, ten years down the track I would still be in the exact same position. Needless to say a bit of faith is needed to continue doing what you know is best for you even when it may hurt like hell!Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) functions as an excito and neurotoxin; killing brain cells. It causes retinal degeneration, endocrine disorders and is part of what is referred to as the glutamate cascade. This glutamate cascade is associated with a number of pathological conditions such as addiction, stroke, epilepsy, neuropathic pain and fibromyalgia.MSG has over 65 hidden names in our food supply today. Concealed names such as Citric Acid and Carrageenan are two. MSG is manufactured by using junk vegetables (that are unfit to eat), boiled in a vat of sulfuric acid for several hours and then the acid is neutralized with caustic soda. The brown sludge is scrapped off the top and dried into a powder. From there it is shipped to food manufacturers across the globe. The United States alone uses in excess of 80 million pounds annually.
