When you look at just how much sugar we The Favorite Food Diet Review consume in our modern diets, its no wonder that we suffer from so many diseases. I'm not just talking about just table sugar, but the consumption of carbohydrates which break down into sugars. Foods like pasta, white rice, breads, potatoes, beets, wheat, corn and other natural foods that are high in sugar. They are all a form of carbohydrate and all of these foods break down into sugar when digested. Sugar is basically a generic term for simple carbohydrate molecules. Now take into consideration all of the processed foods which contain both carbohydrates and pure sugar. Even complex carbohydrates will eventually break down into a form of sugar in our digestive systems, but at a much slower, natural and normal rate.

Is it any wonder that with all of these carbohydrates and sugars being consumed, that diseases such as diabetes and obesity exits in such huge numbers today? For one to live a long and healthy life, it is imperative that processed foods, carbohydrates and sugars be kept to a minimum. Optimal health and weight come from a natural diet of fresh vegetables, plenty of leafy greens, seeds and nuts plus a small amount of meat or fish and the occasional fruits. A diet of this type can rid people of many of these common diseases without medications or keep them at bay. Medications only mask illnesses and do not address the underlying problem and the root cause - our modern diet.

Our farm animals were once allowed to graze in pastures on foods that are their naturally intended diet. Today, these animals are feed grains, corn and even ground up waste products from slaughtered animals, instead of their natural diets. The meat from today's cows and chickens have the components of an altered diet of carbohydrates which we in turn consume. For this reason, to obtain optimal health it is best to buy organic meats. When buying fish, wild is always a better choice than farm raised fish. Again, these farm raised fish are fed some of these same "cost effective" corn and grains, in order to mass produce them for human consumption.
