Other things that are recommended are fruits and black, green and white teas. Things that should be avoided include junk food, sugars, and anything else traditionally seen as unhealthy food.

While it is imperative to eat the right things and avoid the junk, eating at the right times will greatly make eating the right things all the more effective for losing weight. Instead of the traditional three large meals a day, women should eat smaller amounts more often. Three healthy meals combined with two to three more healthy snacks a day will speed up the metabolism much faster than just breakfast, lunch, and dinner.


The third thing that women need to do in order to lose weight is to exercise properly. Everyone knows exercising burns body fat, but most go about doing it the wrong way. Every notice that all the people running on the treadmills at a moderate pace for 30 minutes a day always remain the same weight? That's because contrary to popular belief, long stretches of slow and moderate cardio is not the best way to speed up the metabolism and therefore lose weight. Instead, short but intense exercises should be used. Some of these include interval training (varying the intensity of your running), sprinting, hill sprinting, swimming, and full body exercises using weights including the squat, deadlift, and power clean. Working out intensely for 30 minutes three times a week will not only help you lose weight much faster than walking or running moderately for four or more days a week, but also much healthier for the heart, bones, and joints.
