Some people have exercise for 40-45 minutes a day for 6-7 times a week to lose fat successfully. Yet some people do not have to do any aerobic exercises to have abs. Your body type is also very important.

During the first 10-15 minutes your body mostly uses sugar for fuel and substantial fat loss starts at around 20 minutes. But if you want to lose abdominal fat then you should exercise maybe 35-40 minutes. and also count your calories all the time and pay close attention to what you eat. You can´t lose fat if you consume more calories then you consume.
