Done in the raw'n'ragged style of a beat-up old grindhouse movie trailer, this extremely funny horror comedy short relates the story of a small town that's being terrorized by a disabled werewolf in a wheelchair. Director Joe Avella cheerfully sends up entertainingly atrocious nickel'n'dime shapeshifter schlock by astutely nailing the hilariously horrible acting (the guy who plays the clueless sheriff in particular is uproariously awful), cheesy (far from) special effects (the werewolf is obviously wearing a cut-rate rubber mask that was probably purchased at a local low-rent Halloween costume shop for five bucks tops), rough'n'scratchy cinematography, ridiculous dialogue, corny red freeze frames, and tacky redundant shivery synthesizer music that are all endearingly atrocious hallmarks of such hopelessly horrendous celluloid detritus. The scenes with the crippled lycanthrope rolling after his victims are positively sidesplitting. Bonus kudos are in order for Joe Janes for his hysterically over-the-top narration. A total riot.
