What Rivers Are You Following in Your Quest to Master Success

Today I heard an old song in an old movie about  Zen12 Review   railroads in the mountains and following the river. Early railroads in this country many times followed rivers because the waters within these rivers after millions of year had already removed much of rock. Now constructing a railroad track became much easier.

That started my little brain thinking about life and what rivers do we follow as individuals who are traveling the road to success. Sometimes we follow rivers or the actions of those before us almost blindlessly. These behaviors become automatic because it is easier to follow the river, the behaviors of others than striking out on our own. The goal to master success is hard sometimes and whatever we can do to make our lives easier appears to be a good thing.

Yet living a quality life should not be about easiness. The human spirit, I believe, truly relishes challenges. If we did not enjoy problems or obstacles, we would probably still be living in caves and sleeping on animal furs.

However some individuals want to remove the challenges for us. To make life much easier. To make us dependent upon their hard work or so have us believe that they have worked hard for us.
