VR Smash Park EA launch contents - Weapons : VR Smash Park is an intense and addictive Virtual Reality shooter with lot of fun. Our main goal was to create a game which is enjoyable for anyone even if it is his or her first VR experience ever. So we tried to design everything accordingly, the weapon mechanisms and interactions are simple and easy to learn but still fun. If you looking for realistic weapon handling this game is not for you at least not now (we have plans for more realistic game modes and a weapon modding system). The game currently has 5 different weapon and you can dual wield them in any combination. We tried to create a really interesting weapon arsenal for the launch with guns wich have very different properties. So here they are: We want to add many new weapons to the game during the early access period and we have plans for new game modes with other kind of weapons (melee weapons, bows etc.) either.. VR Smash Park is available now! : The game is live now and available in Steam we hope everyone will enjoy it. But this is just a beginning during the Early Access period we plan to release regular updates and much more content to the game.. VR Smash Park EA launch contents - Game Modes : When we created the VR Smash Park one of our main goal was to create an addictive and fun shooting experience with unlimited re-playability. We have multiple ideas how we can do that and finally we decided to implement them all. So the game will contains 4 unique VR shooting experience at launch and more coming during the early access period because we have cool ideas for new game modes. Duck Hunt: It is the easiest of them all. Your goal is to hunt down the duck shaped targets in a leakside-looking shooting range. The Saloon: This is a classic wild-west style shooting range where you played as a sheriff and you need hunt down the bad guys. Classic Smash: This was the original idea if the game and the first game mode we have created. It is similar to the clay pigeon shooting but your targets are household items. The Conveyor: It is the hardest of them all. Your goal is to sort out items with your gun. It requires fine shooting skills and lot of concentration.. Holiday update : Here is the third EA update to the game. And it contains a new really cool Christmas themed game mode with 4 unique and funny "snow-weapon". We hope all of you will enjoy it. Update #4 - Bug fixes and optimization : Here is the 4th EA update to the game and it is a smaller one. This only contains bug fixes (reported by the commmunity), performance optimization and weapon balance changes. We tried to prioritize those fixes that were reported most often. Update #2 - Another weapon added : Here is the second EA update to the game. In this time we added a micro UZI style weapon to the VR Smash Park we hope you will like it just like the previous one. Update #5 - Oculus Rift support : Here is the 5th EA update and it finally adds the Oculus Rift support to the game. Although this feature is in testing phase right now because we currently use a similar button mapping on all headsets (because of the consistency between the platforms), but this could be unusual for the players who use Rift headset only (most of the Rift games have a different approach to the interaction with the touch controllers).
