Game is extemely easy, pretty much boring after the first five minutes. There was absolutely no challenge in dodging or screen clearing. If you like score attack and the only thing you care about is getting the high multipliers/leaderboards, go ahead and get the game; otherwise, I'd skip it.. 1.FUNNY SYSTEM,NO BOMB BUTTON.IF YOU PRESS "B" BUTTON,IT WILL REMOVE ENEMY&BULLETS.THEN U CAN USE YOUR BATTLESHIP TO ERASURE ENEMY& FULL SCREEN FOR GETTING SCORES.C BUTTON U CAN CHANGE WEAPON. 2.MORE SMALL JUDGE POINT.IT WILL DO VERY GOOD IN CROSSING BULLETS HELL.MANY BATTLESHIPS U CAN CHOOSE TO PLAY GAME,THE BATTLESHIPS'ATTACK WAY IS SO UNIQUE ,BUT IT IS USEFUL AND FASCINATING. 3.COMPLETE VOICES IN CHARACTERS.ITS GRAPHIC IS SO GORGEOUS. 4,THE BOSSES ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER BULLET HELL BOSS LIKE CAVE.IT ENCOURGE U TO FIND RIGHT POSITION,OR THINK HOW TO SPEED DEFEAT CLOSELY.THE BOSS HP IS EASY TO DECREASE. 5.ITS VALUE&QUALITY CONFORM TO ITS PRICE! CONCLUSION: IF YOU SAY CAVE IS TRADITIONAL BULLET HEEL SHMUP,WHILE IT IS INNOVATION SHMUP GAME.. I acutally do think this is a good game, but It's just not for me. I am a shoot 'em up fan but the game had many issues on me. First of all it crashed when I tried fullscreen. Then with the second start I just tried to play in that small window. the game was incredibly fast and I thought. what the hell is happening? I restarted the game again and tried fullscreen again. Started to play and everything was much slower (now at the speed it was supposed to be) When I accidently hit windows button the game crashed again. That took all the excitement from me and I refunded.. These types of games are lots of fun! Really hard to digest if you're not a weeb though.. On the one hand.good music! Space lesbians! (kinda maybe?) A story! Mostly fun gameplay/mechanics! On the other hand.you can't slow down your ship like in Cave shmups and etc., the translation is kinda wonky, and, well. So the game has this mechanic where you build up a bar by shooting enemies and when the bar is full you can shoot screen-clearing beams that turn enemy shots into medals. The game is kinda built around this! The problem is that when I say 'the game is built around this' i mean 'i hope you like the screen near-constantly being saturated with bullets in the later levels with no rhyme or reason!' Even with a little wiggle room ('cos you have a shield) I went through like three continues in the last two levels alone. :v That said, it's still pretty neat, just.y'know, maybe get it on sale if that last part sounds overwhelming.. LOVE this game! Was a bit weary and wishlisted it to come on sale, but after only getting 10% off, I feel it was a very fair price. Says DX11, but looks like DX9.0c to me. Not a bad thing, just an observation. I love you shooting your ememies to power up your shields, a fun and unique style of play. 12 fairly long levels, but bosses are just too easy. Have played early access titles that feel more finished, but it looks like the developers are on the right track with constantly updating the game. Did have problems setting the game to fullscreen from the options menu, would get a black screen and game would lock up, forcing me to restart my PC. Not sure if its because of my ultrawide screen(2560x1080), but if I press ALT+ENTER, it switches to fullscreen and windowed mode just fine. Something that many older dx9.0c title do with Windows10, but this is supposed to be a DX11 title, so I am a little baffled. But if you are sitting on the fence, I can highly recommend this game to any shmup fan, its well worth the asking price. But don't let the little things like that stop you from buying this title, its an AMAZING game! Its got XBox360 written all over it, really looking forward to see what updates the developer has in store for us, because they have added quite a bit of content from the time it was released until I bought it. And they just added score attack today.. This is another Japanese bullet hell shooter that, like many other good ones, brings several unique elements to separate itself from the rest of the pack. There are at least 4 playable characters, the length of the game is good (12 stages), and once you figure out the special/super weapon systems it's not only high-scoring but fair in terms of difficulty for beginners. The story mode adds nice variety although the subtitles and dialogue are borderline cheesy at times and the English is understandably broken. It doesn't distract form the solid gameplay though and each character/ship has different attributes. If you buy the "Threat of third force" DLC you get an additional play mode (I haven't tried it yet). I only have one real complaint-during gameplay, at least with a controller, there seems to be no way to auto-hide the mouse cursor so it's always showing the "loading" circle during the action-does not directly affect the gameplay but is a real nuisance and it would be nice to see it fixed-given the game is over 3 years old I don't think it will though. Another lesser-known entry in the genre that is more than worth the price, but if you happen to see it on sale buy it without hesitation. If you get the bundle with the soundtrack (decent) you'll save a couple bucks too.. Highly recommend. It has a few shortcomings but the gameplay feels great. One of the best Shmups on Steam. Cons: - character art style is kinda average (bland).. Game Sucks Its visualy nice and a ton of achievements to get but heres why i hate this game. The amount of bullets on screen is insane, now hear me out im a huge fan of bullet hell games but the problem with this is theres no way to slow the movement of your ship to dodge them, andsomehow.you never die! yes you never die.its so crazy on screen that it leaves you wondering how the hell have i not died.because im pretty sure i get hit all the time and nothing happens. Its just no fun to play, no matter how skillful at shumps you are, you cant use skill in this game.you kinda just play and go wit hwhat the game does.no fun at all.too chaotic and no tools to actually let you play and dodge bullets skillfully.. - Terrible translation with grammatical mistakes everywhere. There's a story and even voice acting, but I didn't care enough to read what was going on. - Non-stop chaotic, intense bullet patterns, not fun to play. The only saving grace is that you have a shield, so you don't die in one hit. - Bland uninspired levels. Actually, I think it even reused the same level template multiple times. - Bland uninspired bosses + enemies. Same enemies, same boss (but slightly different looking) every single time. + There seems to be a lot to unlock, at least. I got this for 50 cents and I still feel cheated. Get something else instead unless you're starved for a SHMUP.
