This game is an amazing idea, but is riddled with flaws. There are so many flaws that the best way to present them is through a list

1. Information overload at the beginning, giving the player an archaic "read instructions before you play" vibe
2. Terrible tutorial, your goals aren't obvious to find in the UI, and the game fails to explain anything worth while
3. Useless characters, some move too slow to reliably dodge enemies and their attacks, and their damage is lack luster
4. The berserker is OP, highest DPS and self healing, there is barely any reason to play any other character
5. Invincibility items drop too frequently, no challenge
6. Some enemies and their attacks blend in with the environment
7. Survival mechanics are weak, just wait until you're at 99.9% hunger, then one food item will erase all of it, same strat for torches
8. Money drops like crazy so you can always afford food\/potions\/torches
9. Some coins cannot be picked up for some reason, this is probably a bug.
10. The UI is cluttered and chaotic, and does a poor job of presenting important information to the player
11. Characters banter with each other, but is easliy missed since they do this while you are fighting things.
12. Auto-aim really takes the skill out of this game, just strafe and mash attack
13. Some skills are useless, like the bersker's axe throw.
14. At the end of the level sometimes you need to unlock a trap door to progress, this makes you have to search the level for a key, I never visually found the key, but after wandering back to the trap door I had they key and it unlocked. The visual design of this game is terrible.

There are likely more, but I could only take 30 minutes of this game, I wasn't having fun, and was drowning in a puddle of disappointment.

This is all coming from a Dark Souls, and The Binding of Issac fan. I can be thrown into a game and have to figure stuff out, and I actually enjoy that, but The Hardest Dungeon is lacking the charisma and intrigue that DS and Issac both have.

The Hardest Dungeon is just a poorly paced visual mess that is backed by a really cool concept.
