Probably the best VR storytelling experience I've seen yet - well worth the $6 for about 40 mins of storytelling. Full immersive 3D.. A great cinematic VR experience. I agree with a lot of the positive reviews here but here are some of my thoughts. I was surprised how well traditional movie editing worked with vr. The slow pans and zooms worked great, and I didn't find the scene cuts jarring at all. They did a great job with the pacing of the cuts, since I don't think VR could handle the frantic pace of cuts in contemporary cinema. The camera angles were great too. The story adaptation was the weak point. I dont think any of the scenes had the punch that was expected, and I wasn't a fan of the change of the ending. It seemed uneventful, and there didn't seem to be much message added . It was worth the money and I would love to see more short movies produced. This was great, but does feel like I am being forgiving of its shortcomings, since this kind of storytelling is still relatively primative and experimental.. Using an iPhone for the first time. Driving a Tesla for the first time. There are times when you can just FEEL you're experiencing the future. The Great C is one of those times.. I have to say that was much better than I expected. It looked really good on the odyssey+ especially with the deep black levels. The story was very good, and the devs know how to optimized UE4 to look great in VR (tough to do sometimes) Please devs make another.. Absolutely fantastic a must have. We need more VR movies of this quailty it adds so much more to the experience it is unreal. Get it now you wont regret it.. Overall, pretty good cinematic with good graphics and a decent storyline.. more please ,and this is my review report that should say it all ,yes its not A GAME but if tv was like this then what a way to kickback. Beautifully rendered and a nice story. Not sure how VR really added anything to the story, though. Still, it was enjoyable except for the occasional transition/download screen that would pop up between scenes.
