Natalie, Dylan, and Alex, three glamorous, tough-as-nails, investigative agents - who work for the Charles Townsend Detective Agency - are sent undercover to retrieve two missing jewelry bands. These are no ordinary wedding rings. They contain valuable information that reveals the new identities of every person in the FBI's Witness Protection Program. After five of the program's participants turn up dead, only the Angels can stop the perpetrator, using their expertise as masters of disguise, espionage and martial arts.
The Angels investigate a series of murders which occur after the theft of a witness protection profile database.
You know the first movie wasn't bad. I mean it was...fun. Yeah that's a good word for it. The girls were sexy, the kung fu was cute, and the plot was semi interesting. This movie was a music video. Nothing more then that. A lot of skin, a lot of explosions, a lot of music, but no substance. The girls were sexy again but it really didn't matter. Everyone bitched and bitched that the Matrix Reloaded had too much computer generated fight sequences but what about Charlie's Angels??? At least in the Matrix it isn't set in the real world so violation of physical laws are acceptable. Charlie's Angels Full Throttle brought nothing to the table, it was worthless. If someone can say otherwise then I welcome to do so.
The angels are back with more actions and more enemies. Worth the wait??? Ummmm. Well, the winning formula of the first charlie's angels are here but we've seen it, nothing much has been added to. Bill Murray never returned rather he was replaced by Bernie Mac (unwise idea!). Let's not forget Demi Moore's return to screen after years of absence. Demi Moore as Madison Lee is Ok. The three actresses did their part with right amount of fun. The major letdown of the movie is the CGI effects wherein the acrobatic moves are obviously computer-generated plus the most unbelievable scenes you'll ever see! (How they managed to survive from that death-defying scenes!) This movie is full of idiocy yet charming enough, funny enough and quite good enough. RATING: 6/10
All of the actresses are fun to watch, and as much attention appears to have been lavished on their outfits and hairdos as on their high-flying fight scenes.
In order to achieve a PG-13-rating for the theatrical release, some cuts had to be made. On DVD, one can also find the unrated cut with all censorship being removed. Most of the missing scenes have been cut because of sexual and violent content and some scenes have been replaced.
