Love this game! It runs smooth looks great, devs are actively developing new content! Its a game that can be picked up at anytime pass the time.. Well, this is a nice game. A team-based top-down shooter with MOBA elements. The human and squid teams are distinct and have their own gameplay styles.
Each match starts with both teams collecting stuff scattered across the entire map to get better weapons and abilities, but the main goal is CTF: capture 3 human commanders or squad brains.

The game is really fun and has awesome graphics, specially the game effects. It also features destructible environment, which is really great. If two teams are even then the match might stretch for an hour long of endless massacre.

However, SFS also has it's shortcomings connected with the early access status of the game, which are:

1) Lack of content (Maps, customizations, new phases etc)
2) Communication - there's no chat in this game at all right now!
3) Latency and Servers - I have only 1 server available. Also the game feels like it stutters (The input is delayed up to 1.5 seconds) and the ping is pretty high.
4) Balance - squids seem to have more power than the humans.

Wait for improvements and content enlargement.. I really love this game. Not only because it's constant fun, but it's also a wink and a nod to classic science fiction films.

It's multiplayer, with teams of eight, humans vs alien squids. You typically play two rounds as human, then two as squid. Both have unique weapons and, of course, the squids have powers.

You have to protect your sides leader, capture the other sides leader (three times), while competing for resources to advance your weaponry and technology. You can also borrow dropped enemy weapons.

The game is in early access, so it's still being improved on, and the developer is responsive and can be found joining in the game. The game price is a deal for the fun to be had.

I play with an Xbox controller. The controls are easy to use. I think the game will only get better. I've enjoyed it far more than PUBG where I invest time only to die because I can't aim well. So, skip PUBG and join me as a squidhead.. It's a great game! If you've been a fan of Fat Princess and Fat Princess adventures, then you'll definitely love this game. Also, the developers are awesome as they listen to the community with all ears. I 100% recommend this game.. failed game
