Specialty Steel Works announces leadership changes

Hammond, Ind.-based Specialty Steel Works Inc. (SSWI),Sandwich Panel Houses Supplier a manufacturer and processor of value-added steel products including cold finish steel bars (CFSB) and cold-drawn seamless tubes, has announced leadership changes.

The company has appointed Ron Kostyo as general manager of the Niagara LaSalle - Hammond facility. He has more than 30 years of steel industry experience, serving most recently as general manager of automotive operations at U. S. Steel. Kostyo began his career at Inland Steel (now ArcelorMittal) as technology manager and later as division manager of steel producing. He also worked at Severstal North America as division manager of steelmaking and vice president/general manager of operations.

Brian Fudacz has been appointed general manager quality assurance and customer technical services. Since joining Niagara LaSalle in 1995, he has amassed CFSB experience in key sales, marketing, and operations positions, most recently as the general manager of the Hammond facility.SSWI operates under three wholly owned subsidiaries: Niagara LaSalle Corp., Corey Steel Co., and Michigan Seamless Tube. It operates six steel processing facilities in the Midwest.
