Because the value of that experience is how we view it. Was it a birthing to a better life? Is it a transformation into a new environment? Or does it bring you to the precipice of an abyss where the next step, will lead you towards your worst nightmare?

Before we go anywhere, let's stop for a moment. Take a moment and look around, who happens to be in the room with you right now? Who will be the very next person you will talk to? Who was the last person you spoke to before beginning to read this article? Believe it or not, they are the key to your being able to achieve your future, your dreams, and your life's real purpose.

They are your power to transform, your power to achieve and your power to succeed. Moreover, most often, the person you feel that is least likely to be able to help you achieve your dreams, may very well happen to be the key person to your success. I have just described my purpose for writing this article. I have lived a life probably not more challenging than others but definitely more so than some.

For approximately 40 years I have often overlooked my most valuable possession, my family and my friends. I have dismissed them, telling myself that they can't help. I felt some of my friends and family would only criticize me; they wouldn't understand or even really care. I totally missed the elephant that was offering me a ride to my dreams. Instead I was telling myself, they just don't understand, so I would slug it out in the jungle, alone, selfishly mumbling and brain washing myself about how no one was helping me because they didn't care.
