I've used a lot of different game engines, and there are few that I enjoy as much as SGB

While all maps are expressed three-dimensionally, the RPG can be built without having to create any 3D-modeling data for expressing the three-dimensional qualities, or having to spend time on figuring out the layout and setting while considering depth

No need for any sort of programming expertise!
All you need is a desire to create your own RPG.

7/10. I really like this program. It's simple and fun to use. I just hope for more dlc in the future, since there isn't enough assets for me in the program yet. But i really like it and have had a lot of fun with it :). this is not a review

totally recomended for those person who want to make their own RPG :)
but for the love of god, you need to work for it, dont blame any software for being a lazy♥♥♥♥♥person and not doing
anything about ur Dream RPG.

WORK FOR IT, SGB is ur tool.. Well, at the time of writing I have been using this software for just under fifteen hours. The learning curve is steep and for someone like myself who is nearing 50 years old and who hasn't coded or designed anything in terms of a 'game' since being in school in the 1980s, it was daunting at first. However, I am thoroughly enjoying it! I tried following one of the guides available here - creating a quiz show - and that was tricky (only due to English not being the first language of the person who posted the guide) but very much enjoyable.

I very much appreciate the fact the developer continues to give this software a lot of attention and frequently updates it too. It is well worth the money and I look forward to spending many more hours using it. I am going to try and write a Christmas themed RPG with it, to publish on Steam November 2018! Though knowing the pace I work at, it's more likely to be November 2019! :-D. My favorite rpg engine so far though I hope features would be extended in the near future. Interesting and promising. Its a good game builder if you have experience in scripting but if you do not then the rpg maker series is a better option for those who want to make anything playable.So for those who do not have the required skills should not buy this game builder even tho the combat system is pretty neat there are far to many skill requirements attached to this game builder.. This software is never updated. Hasnt been any new features in over a year. There is hardly any administrative support. All tutorials come from community members as well as new assets. The engine isnlacking, yet i paid iver $100usd with the hope that all the assets i bought it would eventually be upgraded to make up for what it lacks. Stay away from this software.

Spacejam is a wonderful remake of a classic Alien Arena map. Zorn and Command are masterpieces from xEmpX, one of the premier map makers of the era.. Another big update coming!:
An update will be coming in the next month that focuses very heavily on new content, and some more polish.

The major focus is on new maps, particularly CTF and Tactical. There will be 3 new CTF maps, including remakes of Terminal and Stronghold, as well as a brand new design. Stronghold and the new map will also have Tactical versions.

We have been made aware of some occasional "hitches" occuring when a player first begins playing, and are tracking down the source of the problem. This will be corrected in this update as well. There are a few other items being looked at that will add to the gameplay experience.. Alien Arena: Warriors Of Mars - Release 4 is out!:
