If your ears are constantly ringing, you already know how  Tinnitus 911 Review difficult this can be to live with. You should know that you're not alone. Almost 20 percent of the U.S. population suffers from some form of tinnitus and 10-12 million of those have ringing ears so bad that it affects their daily lives in some way. There's a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation regarding tinnitus. While I'm no medical doctor, my tinnitus was bad enough that it made me research a great deal about what causes ringing ears and how to get it fixed.

Speaking of doctors, seeing one should be your first step. A health care professional will be able to tell you what could be causing your tinnitus. Tinnitus is not actually a disease, but the result of some other issue.

Maybe you've been told you have tinnitus. What on earth could have caused it? Mine came from years of target shooting without the proper hearing protection. Perhaps yours is from rock concerts or a noisy work environment. One seemingly innocent culprit these days is turning out to be those MP3 players everyone has stuck in their ears constantly. These devices are capable of delivering up to almost 100 decibels of sound and it lands directly in your ear canal. Over time this will definitely have an affect.

Maybe your doctor has told you that there is no cure for tinnitus. He or she is technically correct. There is no magic pill or potion that we can take to quiet our ringing ears. But it can definitely be treated. For instance, ringing ears can be caused by high blood pressure, and if that's the case for you then your doctor will treat the high blood pressure and your tinnitus should subside.
