About This Game

Summary

rFactor is a realistic easily extendable racing simulation from Image Space Incorporated. It offers the latest in vehicle and race customization, great graphics, outstanding multiplayer, and the height of racing realism. rFactor features mixed class road racing with ultra realistic dynamics, an immersive sound environment and stunning graphics.

You can race against a field of AI cars, or in multi-player mode against others. The simulation supports a full day-night cycle. In multi-player mode, driver swaps are also supported, allowing you to run even full 24 hour endurance events. Everything can be customized by the community, including adding new tracks and cars, and a wealth of add-ons are available on-line.

I am going to be completely honest here.
Long time no see,ISI's original baby.
The game itself is quite the simulator you'd need.FFB is not hard to set-up and it's all controller friendly.
Sure,you'll find some toxic people,but that's why leagues exist.
The game itself has no content,but makes up for it with thousands of mods.
Overall,rFactor is a game that never gets old.Buy it,it's worth even 13 years after the release.. Still a great game. Downloaded shift street mod with plenty of real world cars. got an old second pc hooked up my old steering wheel ---> endless multiplayer fun! Graphics are still good enough too.. great and light as non steam version.

One thing is that I do hope modders keep making the mods for rfactor 1 :D. drived a 1989 Bmw E30 M3 in Vila Real City Circuit Portugal...

10/10. I come back to rFactor time after time because it is so solid, does it have the ultra realistic graphics...NO, but I get lost in it anyway. The long list (the longest I bet) of mods and tracks is breathtaking...

Still love it, still rack it up more than any other sim and I have ACC and PC2 and all the rest.
