About This Game

Build up your headquarters from scratch and design your own masterpiece. In Rescue HQ you build, organize and manage a joint station for the three emergency departments fire brigade, police and ambulance. With limited budget you will be facing tough decisions and extensive emergencies that will need your immediate attention. During all of that you will further develop your HQ, hire new crew members and provide them with all the vehicles and equipment they need. Can you keep cool in heated up situations and will you do whatever it takes to keep your city safe?

You are the police – Send appropriate forces with specific vehicles (from patrol car to SWAT unit) to dangerous emergency missions to keep your city safe. Provide them with the right gear from snipers to tracker dogs, bomb defusal kits and much more…

Bring back prisoners and evidence from the crime scenes, interrogate them and process the files to earn money. You will need the funds to set up for big events like the trial of a mafia boss or preparations for the football championship ending up in major riots in your city.

You are the fire brigade – Get ready for the rush of incoming emergencies and make sure your team has the right vehicles and resources to handle them. Train your firefighters to develop unique skills allowing them to become experts for specific mission types. Assign them to different shifts based on their skills and supply them with special gear from air tanks to hazmat suits for chemical emergencies.

You are the ambulance – Look after your patients in the medical station of your HQ and expand it with the latest technologies from radiology stations to 3D printers. It’s your responsibility to keep all your patients safe and provide your medic team with the needed items from crash cart to contamination suits and medical kits.

As the manager of your HQ it’s your job to always keep track of everything. In times of resource and time scarcity, good planning and well-considered compromises are demanded.

Show that you got what it takes to successfully complete multidisciplinary emergencies involving all three departments while keeping your crew happy and healthy. Make use of more than 20 vehicles including helicopters, tons of different equipment, skills and items to set up your rescue masterpiece.

You should buy this game, it's worth your time. It's just not worth your money at this price point. Wait for a sale that offers about 30-50% off the full price.

I really want to up vote this game, but unfortunately I can't. It's fun, it's just not great if you compare it against other tycoon games selling at the same price point.

The problem is that there are so many other tycoon games on the market, and Rescue HQ feels a bit more like early access as opposed to a fully released game. There are bugs, and the graphics and animations are really basic.

I think all of this could have been excused if the developers decided to sell this at a lower price. As it stands, this is in the same price bracket as Two Point Hospital. That has better graphics, better animations, better sound, more depth, and is better optimised in terms of performance.

I can list loads of tycoon games that are comparable in quality to this one, but none of them costs as much.. It's a nice mix of managing resources and watching the little fellows do their work. The building mechanic is really intuitive and accessible. There a several types of emergencies to handle, and the story is fun. All in all - a nice tycoon game!. Well.. first crash to desktop happened about 5min into the tutorial map when pressing ESC. Now the game doesn't start anymore, just crash to desktop without even an error message.. Gonna request a refund. aye thats pretty good. I would recommend this game, but I'm a sucker for management games. So I have to admit a small bit of bias. >.>

I like that its really easy to move things around the base so moving a room doesn't have to be expensive. I find it challenging, in a good way.

There isn't a true sandbox mode yet. Dev's have stated they are working on it. A sandbox mode with cheats on the workshop already. The dev's themselves are very mod friendly which is nice.

The main gripe I have is its really hard to tell if you have enough money for the weekly budget check. Dev's said they're working on a way to make it more friendly.
. Rescue HQ is a game I have been expecting for a while. The gameplay is really well balanced between challenge and fun. I have not encountered any game braking bugs yet, but I have seen a few minor glitches. Fortunately these don't prevent objects from working and can mostly be ignored.

The only drawback I have seen so far is the lack of a true sandbox with infinite $$$ and all items unlocked, but the easiest scenario available is fun enough, and does a great job to teach you how to play the game.

Overall Rating 9\/10. This game is fun - Unfortunately it becomes a bit repetitive. I spent about 2 hours playing it and I lost engagement in the game.

It would be nice to get a bit more into policy, perhaps billing, contracts with surrounding cities for business, and private services to make money. This is supposed to be a Tycoon after all.

The game does go into staff scheduling, but with or without playing with this feature you can succeed so it seems pointless.

The graphics and artwork are nice. Game controls are great and typical - EXCEPT the rotate button is Q instead of R.

There does seem to be a bug here. After playing I was able to unlock the ICU, then my level advanced after the end of the "month" and then I went back into medical and I could no longer see the ICU. This happened across several categories and items. It wasn't just blacked out, it simply wasn't visible at all.

I don't recommend this game for tycoon lovers, its a bit too simple and lacks business engagement - needs the ability to control more on that side of things.

Well. You build a HQ for literally everything. Fire department, police station and a hospital all in one.

Is it complicated? I don`t think so. It`s actually quite simple if you figure out how to deal with everything.
At the moment there are quite few bugs, but none of them being gamebreaking, only visual bugs to be honest. The recommended level is actually quite easy and should not even be hard for new players to "start into" this genre.

Graphics are simple, this genre is not about graphics, its about the gameplay, although I would prefer to have little more detail in the characters.

The most positive fact is, that they have their own discord and they support modding in every way possible. So literally anything can be and probably will be possible in the future as we can mod our own scenarios, vehicles, designs, emergency calls, sounds, (this list could go on forever).

I personally haven`t spend a long time in this game but it has so much potential, a nice community and a nice system that I bought it to support the devs.

Great game!. I'll be honest, I'm refunding this game, not because it's bad, in terms of a finished game, it's good, there's not a lot to criticise, but it's just not for me. Since this isn't early access, I'll review it as a finished \u00a320 game...

It's got the Theme Park Hospital feel for it, so I'd imagine it'd be a great game for anyone who wants a casual bit of fun. But I found it's just always going to frustrate me. Limited sized maps make the game more about trying to squeeze everything in, rather than taking time to enjoy laying everything out for efficiency.

Sending out your staff on missions becomes a bit tedious, you've either got the kit or you haven't and there's not a lot you can do about it if you don't, so for the most part you're ticking boxes and hitting dispatch.

The game tries to add extra depth with finances and research, but money seems to grow on trees and never really becomes an issue. There's also no real visible effect of positioning lockers on the other side of the map so staff have to run from miles away. Overall, it just feels like it's lacking a serious edge that I'd want in a tycoon game
