Let's take a look at some of the benefits of family dinners. In order to make it a regular practice to sit down to dinner together you may want to outline a few goals. Here are a few that might help to make it a reality:Give yourself a minimum number of times each week to make it happen.Plan the days it will happen, what will be on the menu, and what you need to do to make it happen quickly. For example, you will purchase the food on Saturday, you will cut and season the meat on Sunday and refrigerate or freeze. As soon as you get home on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings you will place the meat in the oven, steam some veggies, and a quick whole-grain starch to the mix.
