Had to play around with the settings a little, but I really love this software! a very smart program it seems. it almost always detects when i have a game running. totally worth the price in my opinion.
*EDIT* Not very good for streaming, however if you intend to record it is great! and the customizable overlays are awesome.. Did not work for me at ALL! I tried every setting and the video was still showing up black. If it wasnt black, it was frozen on the starting image. $40 wasted! Do not buy!. Does not work, DO NOT BUY. If you do you will end up with what feels like poo on your face.. Downvoting purely because of DRM lock (needs activation every launch, and locked to one steam account). All of my other steam software work on multiple accounts, so it's a shame. Also it currently crashes Source engine games on launch, but this isn't such a big deal.

I would have refunded if steam had refunds when I purchased this. My large hours are because of a bug where a change in online status (logging on mobile) would cause steam to go In-App even if playclaw is just running in the background. I suppose it's worth the money I paid for it since i was able to record quite a number of videos, but with the whole DRM issues I'd suggest just sticking to OBS considering how much its improved over the years while playclaw has been slowly adding more DLC.. I have to admit, this is my first screen recording software so I'm certainly no expert, however, this has been perfect for my dabblings.

Pretty much the only thing I'd change is the UI. It could do with being a little more intuitive but apart from that it's great!. It does not drop your frames! YOU ALSO GET AUDIO TRACKS! I LOVE IT
. 10x better then Fraps by far.
