Sarah Tyler returns to her troubled family home in the isolated countryside, for a much put-off visit. As a storm rages outside, Sarah, her family and friends shore up for the night, cut off from the outside world. But something comes out of the driving rain and darkness. Something that holds a dark secret so devastating that, in one night, it could wipe out the entire family.
This is a U.K film about a group of teens who are having a few drinks in a barn at Sarah's house which is in the countryside of England. They are all enjoying themselves until the power goes off due to the storm outside. So they venture in to the mansion which is in a state of repair and find themselves being tracked through the house by something that is wolf like. They are in a world of trouble as it corners them in the attic. How are they going to get out of there, and will they all survive the 13 hours until morning?
Not exactly in the same league as Dog Soldiers or American Werewolf, but also not having the same budget as those titles, this little flick shows budding directors that you can get released with a low budget horror.

Apparently shot in 6 weeks and edited in no time at all on a shoestring, if you like werewolves, then this will be for you. You're going to have to ignore the wooden planks who were cast in this ... but they do get picked off in style which is very satisfying. The Director picks up the pace nicely after introducing the aforementioned wooden planks to us and the suspense is kept at a no nodding off level with gusto.

For those who like a bit of gore, there are some nice gnarly bits but not too overboard - the creature is acceptable for a low budget flick and the script, whilst no great shakes and somewhat predictable in places, is more than adequate to keep you from snoozing between the teeth gnashing and the inevitable running sequences

The downside - you are likely to become annoyed with the whining actors. The lead should have been handled by someone less, erm, "nice" and we could have done without the overall feeling of a made for TV one off. However, that aside, if you like werewolves and you want to support British film, you will be entertained.

I gave it 6/10, which is an OK on my scale - I wanted to give it 7/10 (good) but overall performances from the cast could have been better even on a low budget. Still - a commendable effort from writers and director who will go far. Excuse my poor English i try to be understanding. So forgive me upfront, i will not bore you like most do with the entire plot, you can read i here on IMDb.

When the movie started, you get dipped into a gang of close and more distant family members that like to hangout at dads barn to party. Smoke weed and drink ( i have nothing against it ) its a typical horror cliché. Offcourse there always has be a real *beep* in the movie in this case its a guy named Steven.

Anyways as the movie prolongs, like someone here said before very well. You do not really have the excitement of horror. And LOW BUDGET HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. In the past we have enjoyed LOW budget movies that are now considered classics/cult.

Who remembers "The thing" or "Evil dead" "Hellraiser I and II" there were all pretty low budget even for there time. So its certainly possible.

In here you wont find the chases, you get stuck at a attic with a bunch of teenagers that move between small spaces. It does not give you any rush.

What also troubled me is when you see the "monster" attack, you get a low panned cam view with a red filter in front of it (represents blood i guess) that attack a last screaming victim. It gets boring, the end is pretty good tho! But its to short and the best thing you see happening is the rather swift transformation of Sarah. I think most budget went to that scene.

Nonetheless if your bored and in for a nice popcorn flick this is for you. For the ones that love horror and are pretty keen on details and good plot developments and good effects.

Just let it be your wasting 1h and 20 min of your time.
