Probably a good game on its own, but having played both MSF 1 and 2, I can't help but compare it to those two games, both of which are far superior. Just get MSF HD instead.. I run windows 10 with 8GB RAM processor and that minimum requirements is a lie. I Paid for and installed the game just fine, but it hangs at the loading screen and crashes.alot. I don't reccomend this game at all. not till they fixed this giant issue.. A must have for Mighty Switch Force fans. The multiplayer aspect adds a whole new layer of strategy and changes how you approach the different levels. Definitely give it a try.. If you played any of the Mighty Switch Force games, then you should know what you're getting into. The only difference is that the game offers local (sorry online multiplayer fans) multiplayer. It's also same screen multiplayer, as I can tell from the screenshots. I can't say how multiplayer works, because of, you know, life, but playing it by myself, it's not that bad. It has the same great gameplay, and it still has a few puzzles in there. I would've like the ability to remap buttons on controls, as I feel that's the best way to play for most 2D platformers, and the key rebinding does feel limited in some ways (seriously, I can use space to jump when I'm pretty much conditioned to use it by other games?), but I'm sure it will be added to the final release, and with this being Wayforward, the same guys who made the Shantae series, Ducktales Remastered, and Double Dragon Neon, I'm pretty confident that this will just be another trophy in their shelf. Ten dollars may feel a bit much at the moment, but with it being Early Access, it's pretty much like pre-ordering a game, just with the chance to help the devs by giving ideas. That said, whether or not you want to take the risk is up to you, the buyer. I would recommend the weary to wait for the final product, but either way, this will be a good starting point for newcomers, since, from the desciption, it's like a prequil in some ways. It will also be interesting in how the final product will come out, since, as you can tell, I decided to take the risk.. Of course, it's a Wayforward game.. If you liked the outer gaming in the Mighty Switch Force! series then if this is on sale for a good price you should pick it up. You and friends could have fun together also. The biggest downside is it is very short only 26 levels but there are timed objectives and leader boads to strive for the best run.. The puzzles are fun, but the jumping feel a little off.. I highly recommend this game.. A mighty attempt at keeping the series fresh, suffering from a lack of pc optimisation and testing. The 360 pad support is there, but everything else looks like it needs more work done with it. In a game about puzzles fused with speedrunning you're thinking 4 player would be an amazing idea! But then you remember it's incredibly easy to troll each other, which will happen 100 times more often than the military like precision needed to make full use of co-op speedrunning. There's a vs mode I haven't tested, but I imagine it has a lot to do with the aformentioned trolling.
