It's a good painting software for making pixel arts or something abstract.Many good tools for making nice canvas, but It has some bugs(maybe not a bug LOL) eg. the script that makes grid smaller but when I used it I can't restore it back to the size before(-*-). One of the best isometric art/pixel art software. AWESOME.

Highly Recomended.

I wish this tool have the Python scripting ability and ability to import other .hxl documents as layers.. This is a great software and I do hope one day it can support Chinaese...... I really like this software, i can make cool vector art, effects, animation... for my games easily. The only downside is it's a bit slow so i can't use it effectively when making hand drawn art. But it's still worth buying :). This is one of the best 2D/isometric art drawing software ive ever had the pleasure to use.

Its simple and very easy to use.. Hexels 2.5 it's great, but the Hexels 3 is even greater than Hexels 2.5!. Marmoset LLC thanks guys ! I think this is the best 2D painting tool on the market .. This is an art machine.

Hexels 2.02 Update:
Hexels 2 is now available on Steam! Hexels is a fun, intuitive painting app that allows you to effortlessly tap into your creative side. Hexels 2 brings new features such as animation, layers, refined painting tools, new shape modes, a sharp, customizable interface, and much more.

The 2.02 update resolves a number of issues, including a crash on launch problem on Windows, and a crash when adding a new image layer. We’ve also added a script to sub-divide a Pixel canvas with the 2.02 update.
