you got to be fast lol. Really challenging and Fun :).. The usual 3-match Luxor game, but set up as a 80's arcade vector game with retro 80's music. A solid recommendation to fans of the genre.. This game is People love this game and candy crush and they are just repetitive matching games that have pretty much no innovation. The only way you'll do well in this game is if you play luxor all the time. You have to stop 2 different trains of colors that are completely rainbows and move super fast and have super short tracks. Not even the mechanics make sense or follow a set rule. If you form a combination of three sometimes the chain will shrink backwards to the closest ones, but other times the ones on the side towards the end will keep getting pushed forward, meaning each time you try forming a group of 3 on them they keep moving further and further forward which makes no sense since you have to form 3 to stop it. You basically have to get lucky and get a special power or you already lose, which makes no sense. You never get the colors you need and the things move 30 miles an hour. Then if you form a group of 3 and break the chain but it still pushes the other side forward into the end thing you lose. You only get 3 lives then you lose everything, and it's not explained how you get more lives, are there tons of power ups and different symbols that fall but you have no idea what most of them are and if you actually need them or they do anything. Not to mention they fall super fast and sometimes 3 at a time meaning you miss 2/3 the stuff because you're busy trying to stop the chain thats moving way too fast on the super short track. Unless you're one of the casual luxor/beweled/(insert any other repetitivecasual game derps eat up) then don't waste your time on this steaming pile. 4.5/10.. One of my favorite games. The action is straightforward 3-marble, but the graphics, sounds, and pace are just right. There are no frilly side goals and no cut scenes. Even the levelling up is done for you so you can get back to shooting those Tron-ish marbles without interruption. It's the only game of this sort that I've replayed many times.. Great, addictive game! Terrific visuals, audio / soundtrack, combined with fun gameplay. Works well with controller (X360 tested) Passable with 21:9 monitors.. Gives me a headache whenever I think about it.. its a great game love it. Luxor is normally a casual game. There are these snakes of coloured balls, you need to shoot matching coloured balls to make them disappear, before they get to where they want to go. Same thing as "Zuma", except that instead of your player being rooted to the spot and rotating to aim your gun, your gun can move left and right along the bottom of the screen, and always shoots straight up. So - to me, it feels like Zuma crossed with Space Invaders. This version has nice retro-futuristic arcade graphics, good fast pace, it has a feeling of needing high skill while not actually being that difficult to play, a feeling of progression as you earn new power-ups - and they gain levels, and it has boss levels (yes really!). It really feels like an arcade game, when I was expecting something more like a mobile app. Which is a nice surprise! I don't know if this is too obscure of a way of explaining, but it's a bit like the difference between "Space Invaders" and "Space Invaders: Infinity Gene". I guess that's why it's called "Evolved".. Started a casual mode game and ended up beating the entire game on my first playthrough. This is not a bad thing mind you, as I kept playing for a couple of hours straight, enjoying the action and music. Definitely a worthwhile buy for the action puzzler crowd.. its quite good i'll give it a 4/10 hats
