About This Game

Hey ladies, I’m back in business! My new adventure, Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don’t Dry, takes me – whatever the route or twist of fate – from the end of the ’80s directly into the 21st century and wow, how the world has changed! While my view of the world and women from way back in the 1980s collides with modern reality harder than the breasts of a lusciously stacked blonde jogging along a beach, I’m all set to date my way across the modern world!

In a “point & click” adventure I’d call typical for the genre we mutually experience how I fall head-over-heels in love with Faith, the hot-to-trot assistant to the boss at Prune, a technology enterprise successful worldwide. Since even dating is done digitally nowadays, the first thing I have to do is to work on my score at Timber, the totally hip, can’t-get-anywhere-without-it dating app where I date women, satisfy their needs, and accordingly pick up points for my Timber profile. And whenever I get a chance in between, always briefly check out a few new bikini pix at Instacrap – the 21st century is gnarly smill!

The game was really funny and enjoyable!
It's great to see Larry back and I hope for a sequel soon!
The things I didn't like is that there weren't hidden erotic Easter Eggs like in Larry 7 and that Larry didn't end up with Faith in the end. Hope he will finally be with her in the sequel!. The Perfect Larry Evolution.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this game to be honest, I had high hopes for it and loved what I saw in the development videos but, you don't know until you actually play it right?

Well I'm happy to report this game not only exceeded my expectations, but has become a top favorite Leisure Suit Larry game (LsL7 being my favorite) for me without hesitation. Not only is the writing sharp, the graphics/animation well done and the sound really transports you back to the heady days of Sierra's great point and click adventures.

Of course the first thing you'll notice is Larry looks different and the reason is explained within the first minute of gameplay - I think they handled it well and his new look REAAAaally grew on me. Now I can't even picture Larry looking any different, its definitely an update to a classic design and total fits.

A lot of people have also been concerned about the lack of Al Lowes involvement, I for one don't see this as an issue considering his age (who works or would want to in game development after 70?) and more importantly the studio has not only kept the humor modernly fresh but also made great easter eggs as a sort of homage to past Larry games. I hope Al Lowe gives this game a try, because I think he'd be happy to see is was made with clear love and respect.

In regards to humor, it pokes fun at our current dating culture, society and lifestyles. Nor does it hold back and the adult humor lands both as dialog and as artwork sprinkled in the background. I've found myself laughing out loud many times.

The music fits perfectly and hearing the original voice actor play Larry, really made me feel like I was meeting up with an old friend I hadn't seen since, well he went on a very long cruise.

Now to be clear this is not a porn game, its a sexual comedy point and click adventure game. If your expecting a game where you go around scoring with women, filled with hardcore scenes - well you've clearly never played a Larry game before. Don't get me wrong, adult humor and artwork is everywhere - as always your goal is to get into the pants or rather panties of Larry's current heart throb but this is no smooth operator. Its Larry Laffer we are talking about.

The games UI is pretty straight forward and you will certainly spend some time solving puzzles just like in classic Sierra games.

The game is certainly not short either, I've played 6hrs so far and not even close to finishing. I have so much crap in my inventory right now...and I do mean actual crap, all fitting neatly into Larry's jacket pocket. As well the replay value is there if you want to hear different responses.

Finally I really have enjoyed the graphics, the backgrounds are alive and well detailed. The characters are all unique and some, just seeing them for the first time (like at the gym) just made me laugh - because we all know that person.

I really can't say enough great things about this game, I haven't encountered any bugs yet either. My biggest comment for improvement would be a cheat sheet for the hotkeys (maybe in the options screen) and I've also suggested color coded dialog options you've chosen (which the developers have positively responded to).

Honestly one of the best point and click adventure games I've played in a long time and truly is one of the best Leisure Suit Larry games I've ever played and would play again. Highly recommend.

Truly hope we get another Larry adventure from the CrazyBunch developers.. I was very sceptical about this, but they sure proved me wrong. Writing, graphics, voice over and music are all great. The game is never laugh-out-loud funny, but manages to stay amusing and enjoyable until the end. The best adventuregame of 2018 in my opinion.. Game was okay but it was really lacking something. No Easter eggs was a huge bummer. Game seemed very rushed at the end. No sense of accomplishment when I finished. Game is not worth the $30 price tag. The game will keep you limp all the way through. The setting has got to be 2019 in California, if you catch my drift. If you want to experience LSL as it was, in its prime, then play 'Love for Sail'. The game should have been remade for 90's gamer's, not Millennial gamer's. Please don't make another LSL CrazyBunch, no offence. 65/100. The best Larry game in the last 20 years. Still funny, yet much less difficult.. I love advenure games but dont often make it all the way to the end. This fun game kept me entertained all the way through. The humor and style of the entire game scremed cheesy video game comedy.

- Updated some speechfiles which had incorrect or misleading content. Cébé now will tell the player the correct Timber score for entering the night club Hell's Pawn, which is 25.
