As you proceed along with your life, there may come a time in your life  30x30 Total Transformation Review  that your driving and cognitive powers will be questioned. Well, high intensity aerobic exercise may preserve your ability to think and just may help with your driving skills as you move along in years.

During my research I have found that sedentary men and women who have reached the age between fifty five and eighty five years and who have had mild cognitive problems can benefit from aerobic exercise. This group I am referring to was generally at a stage that makes you think of dementia. Some of this group had been randomly participating in exercise programs doing either stretching and balance exercises with a personal trainer, while some of the participants have been exercising on a treadmill, a stationary bike and/or an elliptical trainer for forty five to sixty minutes four days a week. Now the whole group participated in high intensity aerobic exercise.

The women in the aerobic exercise group got better at multitasking, info processing, paying attention, and are more flexible mentally and just more alert. Ironically, so far according to what I have found, the men who have also been doing aerobic exercises have really only improved noticeably in one area and that is mental flexibility. The women also improved in that area.

But thankfully, the one area where older people generally fail, according to the American Medical Association, is mental flexibility and generally this older group improved in the area of mental flexibility, after and during participation in high intensity aerobic exercise.

So I am of the conclusion, that if you want to, that is, if you really want to, you can improve your cognitive power at any age. Now, hopefully, this is a good enough reason for you to get in shape and stay that way. One last observation, and maybe because I am a male that I have it, the women who have gained more out of aerobic exercise than the men were less fit to begin with. They really were. Live well to be well.
