How to Find Your Motivation For Losing Weight

At 1 pm, I will eat a healthy lunch and at 4 pm I will eat a pear and some protein. At 7 pm I am ready for dinner. Layout any kind of schedule that works for you but plan it out and stick to it. Try to get your fruit in at breakfast and at both snacks at a minimum. If you do this every day eventually you will find that you are no longer craving sweet junk food because your sugar levels in the fruit will sustain you.

Banish processed foods and start reading labels. A general rule of thumb is that if an item on the grocery shelf has more than 5 ingredients it's not good to buy or eat. Get in the habit of looking at labels. In the beginning just notice the ingredients. If the item has high fructose corn syrup in it don't buy it. Eventually you will be able to see which foods have sugar in them and which do not. It's not just the sugar contents of processed foods that are a problem. Many of these foods contain trans fat and ingredients like refined wheat (such as white flour) where the grains have been stripped of all their goodness.
