About This Game

The latest release of Indie game House of Alice is now available on Steam! Unlike many VR games, this virtual bunny hunt starts out in a beautiful real-looking house. You can pick up vases and candlesticks and throw them around for an exciting crash or chase after the rabbits to collect points. Like Alice in Wonderland, this family-friendly game explores shifting perspectives of large and small and you can jump through the looking glass for surreal adventures.

Discover a rabbit hole to uncover new scenes and characters both inside and outside the house. This game keeps expanding so if you haven’t been in recently, it is time to go back.

Beautiful visuals. The details of the VR spaces are amazing. There are some really nice effects like when you stick your head under water in the stream. Game play is a work in progress. There are puzzles to solve but there isn't a clear connection between them so things can seems a bit random. Given the on-going updates of the Early Access it looks like this will improve. The small apartment *looks* nice enough, but it *feels* awful.
The small dices you pick up to shrink are extremely buggy, and
when you're small you float around using the trackpad in a
hilariously broken way. Some times the screen just goes black because you
"skated" across some glitch-wall or something in the middle of a room.

As for the purpose of the game?
Well, you walk around said apartment.
It has a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and a small sideroom - all connected by a tiny corridor.
Within that space there are a bunch of rabbits. Some are out in plain sight, others are tiny and hidden so you
can't really see them unless you shrink yourself first. To do that, just pick up one of the dozen small dices littered across
the place.

Then you just get close to a bunny and click on it to make it vanish.
Which is also the only sound you'll ever hear in the game besides the monotone music
and a narrator that pops in with a small line here and there as you collect
more bunnies.
Throwing furniture, dishes and other objects around does not make any sound at all.

All in all, it just feels glitchy and amateurish.. Pretty bad right now.
