Healthy Eating - Vegetable Combinations - Carrots, Potatoes and Peas

Recent studies have proven that LDL is linked to heart disease problems, Apple Cider Vinegar Plus Review  while HDL is linked to a healthy heart condition and to a lesser risk of developing heart related diseases. Thus, by eating yolks, the HDL cholesterol levels are improved and the risk of suffering form clogged arteries is reduced. So next time you're eating eggs remember not to leave out the yolks as they provide you with the most important nutrients for the whole day. And as much as possible you should also try to eat eggs from free range chickens as they are much more nutrient rich than eggs from chickens raised in cramped conditions and fed with soy and corn.Don't let our modern society brainwashs you with misinformation about fats and cholesterol. When in fact, the YOLK IS THE HEALTHIEST PART OF THE EGG.

Eating 'right' can be highly restrictive, socially disruptive, and expensive as deemed by some, others have taken on the challenge to live a life of better quality. Throughout my nieve dining experience, I have searched for the diet that was perfect and as most people are aware many dieting plans have come and gone. I have read the books, subscribed to the theory, and all had no staying power. As explained in yesterday's blog "How organic is organic", health has become a major concern for most people and they are looking to food choices and supplements for support. In this blog, I'm gonna take a closer look at the Caveman Diet, a close brother to one of my most successful fad diets - the Atkins Diet.

The Paleolithic Diet, also known as the Caveman Diet, was first popularized by Walter L. Voegtin, a gastroenterologist. In the mid 1970's, this nutritional concept was promoted as the ideal diet in which modern human beings were genetically encoded to thrive. This ideal diet was based in a pre-agricultural menu that was absent of salt, grains, and high glycemic containing vegetables. The consideration was that most uncooked vegetables contained leptins or other toxins that were poisonous to humans. They also have reasoned that fire was not around in the Paleolithic Era, therefore foods were either hunted or gathered. I have heard this principle asserted in other diet fads in the past twenty years such as,

"if God didn't make it that way, don't eat it." Although I think this may have been more geared towards processed foods, it has proven successful in those plans making the principle conducive to weight loss. The diet was indicated to not contain intentional salt intake other than that obtained from the hunted or gathered foods. Salt was reasoned to have been obtained from raw meat and blood, but could not exclude the possibility of the caveman instinct to hunt down a source of salt licks like their prey.
