Final Assault is a WWII themed Action Strategy Game built from the ground up to capitalize on the power of VR. As the player you Tower over the battlefield as the war rages around you in 360 degrees. Final Assault mixes the combat of a RTS and Moba, while keeping the focuses on the combat, removing base building and resource gathering and putting you into the battle quickly. Command jeeps, tanks, artillery and aircraft in massive ground to air battles. Execute air strikes and bombing runs as you advance your troops towards enemy territory. Control your units by drawing paths for precise, direct combat. Strategic decisions have consequences that require quick thinking and fast VR reflexes. This new approach to classic RTS gaming utilizes compelling and immersive game-play that can only exist in VR. Jump into the combat. Fight the battle, Win the War!
***NOTE: This is not a Tower Defense game, but new style of Action Strategy that mixes a RTS and Moba with play mechanics crafted for Virtual Reality.

Must buy if you like RTS and own VR.. Holy smokes! I just bought this game, and played for only an hour before I had to come here and give it two thumbs up. This is already pretty polished, the controls are simple and intuitive, the learning curve is short to start playing though you quickly come to realize that it's not some easy mode RTS game.
If you've ever enjoyed playing RTS games, you NEED to buy this. Every other RTS game I've purchased or tried on the Vive has sucked. This one is awesome. I'll update my review after I've invested some serious time, but right now my initial impression is it's great.. I bought this game yesterday (3/27/19) and i can already tell this will be my most played VR game. This game is so addicting a fun. Feeling like a giant and commanding your army never felt so good. I love the fact that i can command my fighter jets to eliminate a battalion of foot soldiers. The best part of all is that it is in the WW2 era. Also, you can play with friends. If you want a simple fun vr game. Get this game.. This is hands down the best game I have played on my Vive. You can tell just how much work the Devs put in on this game. Graphics are amazing and they fix bugs very quickly. (already a patch on its first day) I have played many games in my life but none compare to this!!!

Good Luck to all you!!!. Dont play a lot of RTS games but this one is amazing. The VR integration is near flawless. I love the stylized graphics. The minor complaint I have is that the AI can be dumb at times and it becomes pretty easy to beat once you realize you can just set up artilery in certain locations undefended and the enemy will just sit there are get destroyed.
Overall though I was extremely impressed!

Hello from Phaser Lock. WE MESSED UP! Yes, we made a mistake at setting up our Early Access launch and clicked the wrong button when setting discount for Early Access. The Early Access discount we wanted was up to full launch but was only set for one week, which expired yesterday. (3/38)

* Galland’s Story Campaign is now available.
* Steam & Oculus Achievements have been activated.
CHANGES
* The U.S. Anti-Tank Gun is now a (very slow) mobile unit.
* Unit health bars now display as BLUE for your team and RED for the enemy.
* We have expanded the tutorial and now explain more game features.
* The Unit Info Pull Out tab on the clipboard has been updated.
* AI changed how it decides what to spawn next.
* Voice over dialogue updated for Simmons, Nickels, Wulf, Von Ritter and Galland.
* Units put into a loop have a more visible effect.
* Health bars over bases auto-hide when you are near them so they won’t block your view of the game.
BUG FIXES
* War Chests now drop correctly.
* Unit pathing improvements on Stronghold. Units no longer attempt to path through the ponds to get to the War Chest drop locations.
* Campaign Victory/Defeat Conditions Fixed.
* The AI will no longer spawn large amounts of planes and keep them over its base.
* The Artillery will now prioritize Infantry units over Towers.
* Fixed a bug with the AI that prevented it from seeing War Chests that were sitting next to one of its units.
* Fixed issue with multiplayer reconnect code not firing when player loses connection to Platform Services (Steam/Oculus/Viveport) or Phaser Lock Matchmaking Servers.
KNOWN ISSUES:
* Artillery/Bazooka Troops/Probably other Units will sometimes fire across the entire map.
* Tutorial VO is temp and will be updated
* When spawning new units, a unit will occasionally teleport to the spawn location instead of pathing to it from your HQ.
* Some temporary VO is still in the game.
* German Fighter plane missing team colors on clipboard.
