Does what it says.. A very handy software to organise your desktop. The only thing I miss is an "always on top" function.. I'm never going back to the default Windows desktop.. Absolutely one of my favorite software that's keeping my desktop looking clean and everything sorted. I used to be incredibly messy with a desktop filled with icons, but now I just put it all in a folder and hide it.. Fresh version of windows every month, download fences everytime. boxes clean as .. Had a copy of 2.0 running that I pirated years ago. Felt really bad that I've been using this software for so long without paying the developers a dime. Decided last night to purchase it in since I saw it suggested to me on Steam. I also picked up Start10.. Unfortunately I intended to use this with Wallpaper Engine & it just looked plain ugly for me over my chosen wallpaper. Not only that but the only ways I was allowed to organize icons wouldn't work out for me as I wanted spaces between them in specific spots. Sad to say this organization software isn't for my expectations. But about Fences in general, it seems extremely stable & in its own way extremely useful, if you have too many icons & shortcuts to fit onto one screen, Fences is definitely for you & I do suggest checking it out.. I absolutely love this program. Its a great and easy way to clear up your desktop, and make it not only visually appealing, but well organized.. its really good and helpful, the only problem that this program have some issues with a multiple screen setup, one of them, is when the screen turn of from inactivity all of the icon fences will either switch for another monitor or will all be in the same one, ofcourse you can fix that but saving your desktop once with the problem so it will cancel its self and one without it, but sometime it doesnt work also sometimes the setting (which you can customise almost everything) wont be saved nothing that cant be fixed
