About This Game

Journey of life is a survival sandbox game where the player finds himself on a group of islands where each island has a different biome with different flora and fauna.

In order to build a village, the player needs to create a variety of stations that will process materials found on the islands into components used in crafting tools and weapons needed for survival.

The player needs to build a dock on the coast to be able to construct a ship used in sailing between islands. Before the ability to departure, the player needs to fill the ship with resources such as food and water to survive the stormy seas!

spent 30 minutes trying to craft the axe i found 2 out of 3 things needed, but just gave up, plus there are a few things that need fixing.

1, day night cycle is far too short.
2, you die too quickly.
2, inventory is too small
3, no tutorial, not even a simple one..

other then that, its not a bad game. i understand its a three man dev team and things take time, but i wouldn't of put it up for early access just yet. i would recommend to others if and when the bugs are fixed.

maybe, just maybe, if these things a sorted out then i might just buy it back.. INITIAL THOUGHTS* Recieving a key today but purchesed also for multiplayer when released

1. Visually stunning
2. Smooth gameplay in general
3. Potential to be a very good survival game/experince when finished
4. Good community that seems to listen to people and their ideas/tips/help (currently small)

1. The game is lacking quite a few features at the current state its in
2. The animations are a bit off for some thing i.e animals, cutting trees, picking up item
3. Price is too high in its current state (should be around £10-$10)

It has some great concepts, beautiful graphics, relatively easy to use UI and I'm sure it is going to be a great game when the bugs are ironed out.
I will revisit this game in a few months and hopefully change my review to positive.

. Question for the devs : HOW can you make (and let play) a decent survival game with ONLY 4 slots inventory ???
Think about it and when all goes well i will buy it back, for now it's a refund !. Nice game, I have all my settings set to max and the game runs smooth.

That being said could use work of crafting, like how do you make a plank from a log. Maybe a mini map or some way to find your way back to where you are setting up camp.

One big issue I have been having is loading my saved game and it locks up, have had to restart the game three times so far with no luck. Work around is to load a new game and then load last save.

All in all look forward to seeing more updates. But I can not recommend this game as it stands now, will keep watch for more ptachs and updates.. seems like a cool game but on one half of the island i got constant 18 fps with my 1080ti.
