Sydney Bristow is an international spy recruited out of college, trained for espionage and self-defense.
Sydney Bristow is a young, athletic, college graduate who was recruited her freshman year as a secret agent for SD-6, a top-secret branch of the CIA. After a few years -- after Sydney confides her lifestyle to her boyfriend, the evil head of SD-6 -- Arvin Sloan, has him killed. Sydney learns that SD-6 is part of a rogue international agency called the Alliance of 12, out to rule the world. She becomes a double agent, working with the real CIA to bring down SD-6 with the assistance of her handler, Michael Vaughn, and her estranged father Jack Bristow -- also a double agent. Along the way, Sydney fights various rival agents, rival terrorist groups, and traitors all the while keeping her cloak-and-dagger lifestyle a secret from her friends. (Season 1)
Two years ago I heard about a new show on ABC called "Alias". I've always been a fan of the spy/action genre so I decided to sit down and watch the first episode. What a mistake I made. I now find myself attached to the TV from 9-10pm every Sunday night for a breathtaking 60 minutes of one of today's best shows on TV. But in between the prophecies, major ass-kicking, sliced-off fingers, spy gadgets, torture devices, severed heads in boxes, cliffhanger endings, rivalries, love triangles, and wild costumes, I wonder "What is it that makes me so hooked to 'Alias'?"

The answer is simple: "Alias" is a show made of a complicated, always-surprising plot that makes waiting another week for the next episode torture. Not to mention the awesome casting, outrageous costume changes, great guest appearances, and some awesome special/visual effects. The only drawback? The ending of each episode. Why must the episodes only be an hour long?

If you decide to start watching this show (starting with episode 1, season 1, of course) take this as a warning--"Alias" is like chocolate: once you start, you can't stop.

My rating: 9/10 Alias is the only TV show right now that has a female as the main character. It use to be Dark Angel and so forth, but Alias is like a female James Bond. Who says that boy's get to have all the toys? Bird's of Prey doesn't cut it, but Alias does because it has a great cast and of course Jennifer Garner. In short summary, THE SHOW KICKS ASS!!

Surely, she is ready to kill them or be killed by them. The likely answer is when Sark turns himself into SD-6. Sark tells Sydney that he told Sloane 2 things to gain his trust. He reveals the first to her (Sark didn't kill Sloane), but not the second. The second thing was likely to be the fact that Sydney and Jack are double agents. Syndey and Jack faked
